  • hey, im a drummer too and ive just got a 6 by 8 shed outside and i want to know, will that sheet work for the shed, by soundproofing it good enough? i mean, we have a ton of egg boxs and we're gunna put that up around the walls , put holes in them and spray expanding foam in them too, ive just got it for christmas, and i dont want the neighbours complaining, what do you think?

  • @DJCBlacky Hi! Thanks for your comment. They work up to a certain point, until they crack and harden, thus becoming useless. Audimute has an affordable solution like shown in the video above. Easy to install, entirely eco-friendly and effective! Also, they are cheap! Give a call or shoot me over an email. I'm happy to help with any other questions. Thanks, Happy New Year!

  • yeah and if you buy some of these sheets i got this bridge in Brooklyn i can through in for free

  • About how many decibels kills your your product?

  • @sonico73 Excellent question, thank you! It all depends on how you are installing. We have several NEW and improved videos right on our homepage of our website. It'll show you a dB meter with our products and Mitch, President of Audimute and speaker of this video, play his drums and guitar. Check it out and let me know if you have further questions! I'm available via phone 866 505 8883 or via our LIVE CHAT! -Mallory

  • Hello, Im having the same trouble with CiaryAndalis down there... I record piano/guitar/vocals too. And I live in an apartment in Japan. I was wondering what to get? Audimute Exclusive Offers Absorption Products Acoustic Panels Deluxe Wall Coverings Absorption Sheets Sound Baffles Bass Traps Barrier Products Peacemaker Sound Insulation Sound Isolation Products Anti-Vibration Control And do I have to cover everything wall in my room?
  • @potheadmaiko Hi there again! I'd LOVE to talk with you on chat.. why don't you come on and we'll discuss shipping charges as well. Thanks!

  • @StokedHero0 Hey! Thanks for your comment! Adding the absorption sheets will significantly reduce the loudness you're creating, which will not only help control sound from leaking out, disturbing others, but a secondary benefit: Using them to enable yourself to be a better musician. Adding sheets will help you hear mistakes buried in deflections and so forth. I'm at your service if you wish to give a call. Thanks!

  • I want to SOUNDPROOF my room, since I am moving to an apartment.

  • @CiaryAndalis Hi! Happy to be of service. What type of sound are you experiencing? Are you playing music? Do your neighbors create the noise? Let's discuss via chat or phone! Happy to be of service, 866-505-6883!

  • @audimutedemos actually. I Record piano/guitar/drums/vocals .. Im the one who makes LOTS of noise. I dont want my neighbors to complain when I move to an apartment. Hopefully, I'll be able to order these sheets, before I move.

  • @CiaryAndalis Let me know if you need help ordering. I'm available on chat or phone or email! Happy to help.

  • @audimutedemos hey i play drums and have been getting complaints off naighbors,

will this quiet the noise and

if i could get these will i be able to take then down off walls i dont really want them in the walls 24/7

    thanks

  • @sirral11 Since they're completely portable, you can easily remove them whenever you like! We have several colors available on our website, so if you don't need the boring old white, we have black, red, taupe and blue! You will surely notice an improvement of the quality of sound, and it will help reduce the loudness that bothers your neighbors! I'm at your service - give a call if you wish to discuss! Thanks!

  • cheap?really? doesnt look it to me

  • @XxAmberNicole7xX Thanks for your comment! Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets are pretty cost effective when you're on a budget. What are you looking to do? I'm happy to be of service. Maybe offer you some quality control sheets if you are budget sensitive. Hope to talk soon!

  • On your vocal booth video, it said the woman got 8 sheets for 200 bucks, but the sheets on your website cost 65/ per piece. Am I looking at the wrong one? Is there a cheaper one? Which one is .97/sq ft like said in a video?

  • @martiallaw565 These videos are a little outdated and we apologize. We just revamped new sheets on our website. They are $65/ea, but we have volume discounts available. Should you want to consider using some sheets that have slight defects to them, call me. I have a special price on those!

  • I have a room where there is a fair about of echo...But it is toolarge to cover the walls...If I just made a pvc fame with 6 by 7 walls, and hung up a few sheet, will my echo problems be solved? What If i hung acoube blankets around a room?

  • We feel your pain. Our absorption sheets are not likely to remedy this situation. They are not a sound blocker. They may provide some muffling especially in multiple layers. In a shared wall situation noise travels easily between units. The reason is that a common, connected frame supports the floors, ceilings, and walls, and it readily transmits sound and impact vibration from one unit to the next. Not a simple soundproofing proposition.

  • MY NEIGHBORS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY. I CAN HEAR THEIR LOUD TV AND TALKING ESP. PARTIES THEY HAVE. WOULD THESE SHEETS BLOCK SOUND COMING THROUGH A SHARED 2 BY WALL?

  • @censor48 i had the same problem years ago,i think that THEY NEED sound absorbing materials, not you,but i could be wrong,if they are above you ,what really helps is making a new ceiling under you ceiling with and empty space of 30 centimeters between,it´s called "cielo razo" in spanish,,really don´t know in english, they are very common here

  • i need something to dampen the sound of my gf moaning

  • if i put sub woofers in my room will it block sound out

  • I just want to absorb some sound without a big project so my mom doesn't hear when I watch porn at night.

  • @RunnerXxGirl42 Absorption sheets all the way. I probably wouldn't watch that in your parents house though.. you never know when they'll come barging in!

  • @RunnerXxGirl42 LOL....nice!!

  • @RunnerXxGirl42 hahahaha

  • @RunnerXxGirl42 looooooool

  • hi, i live in an apartment in tokyo, where people are really sensitive about the noise. i recently purchased an electronic drum kit. im already recieving complaints about the noise. i think the main problem is the kick pedal, and the thumping of the pads of course.. would a few layers of these sheets do the trick? i think the main problem is i live on the 3f so most of the noise is leaking to the tenants directly below me. could i lay these across my floor and see some results? thanks

  • If your a drummer depending on your walls I doubt this would do a lot I mean the kick drum would definitely still be heard from the outside. I guess if you only want to knock off about 10dB SPL sure it'd work... But isolation method is better... Studded walls and decoupling, absorption along with heavy mass. Completely sealed and coverage will be a better method for drums!

  • i just wanna spund proof my room cause my house is old and the wallas are paper thin so when it rains I know i won't be getting any sleep... like right now seeing as it's 3:40am

  • @OfficialKrystel Oh geez!! I'm so sorry! I know how annoying that could be. I live an apartment with paper thin walls too. Have you seen any of our absorptive products? They'll help control some of the sound, but unfortunately won't block it. Utilizing Peacemaker behind drywall would be your best option! Please let me know how I can be of service.. give a call! 866-505-6883 Mallory

  • Hello, i really need to bring down the noise of my drumset a LOT for my family. My drumming is driving them nuts and I can't do my best when I know someone wants me to shut up. Please help. My drumset is in a medium sized room in a basement with drywall and cement. Please get back to me.

  • @ZZBigg Hi! Well the Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets will definitely help reduce the amount of intensity your creating from your drums. Maybe enclosing yourself in a room with door shut could help too. Double layer of the Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets. Please call if you have other questions. The sheets are on sale now $25 off on our site!

  • @ZZBigg How about getting an electric drumset and headphones?

  • @herbal1971 I tried that for a while. Its still good, for some reason its can't compare to being on an actual drumset. So everytime it got on my electronic I just thought 'I could be on my real drums...'

  • @ZZBigg

i have a better solution and way more affordablle. It's called: muting pads!

Get them at Guitar Center. They are like 20 bucks. You just put them on your drums and you don't have to cover the walls with anything.

  • @produccionesmiranejo uhm, do you play drums? Muting pads sound like someone punching a turd

  • Hi Audimute! I'm renting a house that has a brick garage attached, so unfortunately construction is really not an option. There are two windows in the garage. I play in a band and would like to host practice there and even record as well. I saw in a previous video that you said you layered about 17 of those blankets, which effectively dropped the band noise to the sound of a passing car? I would love to contact you and get some advice and what I could realistically expect. Thanks!

  • @BornIntoMusic Hey! Definitely give me a call or chat with me on the web. I want to discuss more in detail with you. I'm looking forward to our conversation! - Mallory

  • I need to sound proof a room just so i can play loud music or isolate tv sound from the other room while i studie, can u hellp?

  • @janersulce32 Do you rent or own? The Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets are extremely portable and will help control mid and high range frequencies, but will NOT block the sound / isolate tv sound from another room. They will solely help control the sound in the room, making it sound almost 'dead.'

Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact me to discuss.

  • hey i need help please audimutedemos. i live in a dorm room and my walls are thick so no sounds come in. but my door which is 2in is made out of wood and sounds come in. neighboors play music and i hear it :( how can you suggest i soundproof a door? i can damage it or anything but please advice...help

  • @matrixener Hey. Try using our Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets to help with controlling sound. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. I'd work with your RA and tell him / her exactly your frustrations. I've been there, and my RA helped me come to a conclusion. I moved out! I know it could be hard to move out of a dorm room, but try talking with them and asking at a specific hour to turn off the music.

  • I really need to nearly 100% soundproof a garden shed for my drums. i have no idea where to start though. Please help!

  • @Emresaurus 100% Soundproof? Are you aware of what success sounds like? Let's discuss by phone or via live chat on our website. I want to discuss with you the appropriate ways to isolate and absorb frequencies you're experiencing. I'm not sure you'll need 100% soundproofing.

  • @audimutedemos That's a very polite way of telling someone they have a lot to learn. :)

  • OK I live in a town house and i have a one car garage that i want to soundproof so that my Neighbors cant hear me, well to a point were the will call the cops.. so pretty quiet... I will be playing DRUMS, GUITAR, BASS, SINGING everything with pro gear Half stacks and All that is this possible to do PLEASEE help,, also the Foam bed things work for sound proofing Please get back asap

  • Hello I have a small ac closet right next to the bedroom it makes the most annoying constant sound is there a product that you offer to control that please get back to me

    Thanx

  • @LOkEY0885 OH man.. I can relate! We had a server here and it made this horrible sound as well. We used our Peacemaker material and built a 'booth' along the inside. However, if this is just a temp fix, maybe using the Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets will help muffle mid and high range frequencies. Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact me to discuss. Mallory

  • @audimutedemos....OK I live in a town house and i have a one car garage that i want to soundproof so that my Neighbors cant hear me, well to a point were the will call the cops.. so pretty quiet... • You look like an older Buddy Holly.

  • does anyone know if they sell soundproof foam in perth, western australia?

and + i dont want to buy stuff over the internet, so....

  • I play drums and Bass but bass is my mean thing now so i have a bass amp in my bed room and i play bass every day and i like to play it loud how could i sound proof my room its rather small

  • yeh you just need a few for a room

  • sorry, but those mega clips that are supposed to hold up so well don't do well at all. they slip and let go of the sheets all the time and are a huge pain. I'm gonna go get some real clamps and hold these things up solid.

  • @Buhzie15 Sorry about that! How many were you using? Three? It used to be two with our old version of the sheet. Now we created a more dense sheet that needs three sheets to hold. I'll bring this to our marketing and production center to see if we can find another simple solution for our customers! Thanks for the fdbk!

  • @audimutedemos Glad that feedback is important! maybe a small spring style clamp would work better than a metal flange clip.... But hey, i'm no R&D.

  • where exactly do you put the foam on the wall? on the whole wall itself or like a part of it? and do i need it on every wall?

  • @eMCeeShyGuy We don't sell foam, we sell eco-friendly absorption sheets that must be on the entire wall. The good thing about it is that they are larger than egg crate foam and will reduce sound much more! Please call for details, as I am happy to help!

  • Does any one knows how to fix a celing problem?... The thing is that there are some drain pipes that u can actually see, where i will do my home studio and u can actually listen when somebody is urinating in the first and second floor (cos the room were ill do the studio is in the basement of my house) what is the better and not so expesive way to deal with this problem?

  • @vixo94 @vixo94 Have you seen our Peacemaker material? Maybe you could wrap the drain pipes with our material to help control the sound! Check it out on our site and feel free to give me a call to discuss further.

  • @audimutedemos how much does it cost? and do you do international shipping?

    THANKS :)

  • @vixo94 Bongo International provides it's customers with their very own US address. Once you have a US address, you will be able to make purchases with us as well as other US based online retailers. Bongo receives your purchases and logs them into their online system where you can consolidate them with other orders. Simply click on 'International Shipping' on our site.

  • Nice video and tips on acoustics.

I am going to look into audimute. Also I have been hearing a lot about quietrock for soundproofing. Hopefully with all of this together, I will get a wonderful studio.

  • im a drummer and really need my room soundproofed. Whats best way to do so but cheap?

  • Practicing musicians / learners, if you could fill out my easy 4 question survey for my research project it would be much appreciated. The link is in the info of my video called practicing musicians thanks.

  • i have an pa system in my room(with rcf 8002as) size of room 4x5 m. i wan't the woofer at he's max volume.. but my neighboors are not happy with that.. PLEASE help. i first wan't to build a room in room idea, but that's to expensive..

  • What is your system currently sitting on? Maybe one of our Audimute Sonipads will help control the sound if you were to place it on top. It's a 2" thick rubber pad where it will reduce the amount of vibration from the system! Visit us on the web as we show in great detail of how it works. Or give us a call. I'm happy to be of service!

  • my 18''woofer is sitting on the ground.. there's nothing between the sub and the ground. that 2'' rubber is an greath idea thanks.

  • say i had a few of these do i cover my door and window with these ?

  • You can! It will help reduce some of the sounds from the outside, but we recommend using our Door Seal Kit as this will act as a weather strip to help keep sound from coming in! Take a look on our website and give us a call. I'd be happy to help - Mallory

  • Is there anything that can be placed on an apartment ceiling to keep the noise out from the apartment above, without the need for any major structural changes? The landlord would not allow any sort of drywall, etc. Thanks

  • It's so difficult to block sound in apartments, especially if your landlord won't let you do anything structural. Our sheets won't help but I rather be honest with you now, than have you purchase them and find out they didn't work. Sorry!

  • i want to sound proof my dungon so the screams cant be heard :-P

  • Hey! Yes, please call us. I'd be happy to get you a quote! - Mallory 866 505 6883

  • Thanks for your message knau1234. Happy to be of service. All of our data and lab reports are located on our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call. I'm happy to discuss with you technical information. audimutesoundproofing com

  • Come take a look at our website. Or any of the other videos that offer the Acoustic Panels. It's an excellent absorptive product!

  • thanks. i had located the information on google.

  • @shylosworld78, Acoustic panes are panels that affect acoustics.

  • hear wut lol

  • If I were to put the sound absorption sheets in a 16 x 12 foot room, how many sheets would I need? (About) I probably wouldn't need it for the wall with the door because it's a double door with good soundproofing.

So 3 walls and a ceiling.

  • Probably around a Starter Kit (14 Long Sheets) and a Room Kit (21 Long Sheets). This will help cover the ceiling and three walls. Give us a call to discuss some more. I'm happy to help!

  • drummers, CALL NOW!!! LOL

    yeh.

  • Egg cartons don't provide any NRC whatsoever.. maybe about a .01 which is terrible. They tend to crack and deteriorate after months of being exposed. Our Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets provide an excellent NRC rating of .70 which is exceptionally high. Ours are eco friendly as well. Perfect for the environment! Give us a call. We're here to help. 866 505 6883

I'm confident out Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets will help control the mid and high range frequencies - the over all loudness in your space, and give you clarity in sound to enable you to be a better musician! Happy to help.

  • Installing foam and blankets does absolutely nothing for stopping sound from travelling through the wall. it is good however for "Tuning" a room. If you want to actually soundproof a room, the answer is MASS, MASS, MASS. Some people apply a bead of silicone caulking to the face of the stud and apply the drywall over the bead of caulk and then apply another bead on top of the drywall before aplying another layer of drywall.

  • You got that right! Our sheets are only geared towards the mid and high range frequencies, NOT low ends. Our Peacemaker helps gain mass needed to isolate a room. Thank you for adding to our video. Stay tuned for updated videos in the coming months! Call us at 866 505 6883 if you wish to discuss more.

  • the guy who asked the question about traffic noise. the blankets are for interior absorbtion to keep reverb down. You have to de resonate your walls and seal your window as much as possible. Ive been experimenting with this for years. If possible blow the inside of your walls with non expanding foam or blown insulation. This will help alot. Install sheet block with another layer of sheet rock will help too. This will reduce noise by 50%. Its very hard to stop traffic noise.

  • I have to agree with you! Traffic noise, believe it or not is very difficult to isolate or absorb unless properly treated in which case, blown in insulation and our Peacemaker will work. Peacemaker by Audimute is a sound damping rubber used to reduce transmission of sound through walls, floors and ceilings. Peacemaker sound deadener offers superior noise reduction and moisture protection. This will help isolate even over 50%! 866 505 6883 Call us!

  • show me how thats why i looked up a video

  • me2, i cant find a video where they show how to :(

  • We will be implementing new videos in the upcoming weeks!! Stay Tuned! They will be new and IMPROVED! Guaranteed!

  • hope so...

  • What if i wanted just to sound proof my door? since i can hear things that are going on outside and i like to get more sleep plus people hearing me in my room

  • My practice room is on the second floor of my house. Two walls are only 3 feet tall with the roof/ceiling sloping down to them. The floor is carpeted but I still feel I should put some form of proofing on the floor to reduce the sound entering downstairs. What is the best way to soundproof this room? Any response is appreciated. I will be calling next week sometime to discuss this further.

  • Are you able to alter any of the flooring? Our 6.4mm Peacemaker is an anti-vibration product we sell. You will no longer hear or feel the reverberations you would have if you do not have this. Call for more details. I'd be happy to help! 866 505 6883 or visit audimutesoundproofing!

  • what about a room 1 door and slidding glass window and the walls are concrete ?

  • Yes! Double layer of sheets, or even triple layer, works exceptionally well when trying to absorb sound from escaping out. Hope this helps. Please call! 866 505 6883 for more details.

  • What's best for soundproofing a garage? With concrete floor 2 doors (1 old and 1 new) and 1 window.

  • Typically a two car garage will need 16 to 24 sheets. The more area covered, the better. Peacemaker, another product we manufacture for low frequency isolation, may also come into play, but only in about 25% of our garage projects, usually to insulate thin doors, drywall, floors, and more There are many tricks of the trade I can help with should you wish to give a call. Been there, done that. I am glad to help. 866 505 6883

  • To ensure proper reduction of sound, you must cover every square foot in this room of your apartment. In a short time, you will hear a noticeable difference of the reduction of mid and high range frequencies. Please call for additional information 866 505 6883. Thanks!

how much sound does it actually reduce

like if you went out side of a room while drumming how much would you hear outside of a fully sound proofed room.

  • Fully soundproofed room is quite costly. Using our Audimute Sheets, ($485 for 21LONG pack), you will diminish the mid and high range frequencies! Please call for more information. I would love to discuss some of our isolation products as well. Thanks- 8665056883

  • I have one more question do I have to put it all over the room or just where the street sound come in from I have poblem with the strteet noise an went people get near my door you could hear theme talk now I was thinking about getting the peace maker but I am renting the house what do you recomments

  • Cover as much area as you can. It might seem as if the noise is only coming from one doorway or wall area, but it is in fact probably coming in from the structure of your home. Start with an 8 pack of sheets for $160 and let me know! Thanks

    866 505 6883

  • what kind of foam can i use

    4 my home made booth

    im doing vocals???

and where can i buy the foam????

    help??

  • We don't sell foam because it is less durable, permanent installation is required, adhesive will damage the surface if foam is removed and worst of all it is not environmentally friendly. Using Audimute, you receive the highest quality of effectiveness, durability, does not require permanent installation, and are 100% eco-friendly! Please call 8665056883 to receive more information!

  • Absolutely. Audimute sheets help absorb the mid and high range frequencies that are just a nuisance. Please call for more details or visit our website. 8665056883

  • Our Audimute sheets are very portable and works just about anywhere. Let's discuss about your application a little more and I'll be happy to guide you to the right product. Thanks! 8665056883

  • how to i install it into my room?

  • Really easy to hang. You can hang our Megaclips with nails and then clip the Sheets. Takes moments! Either unclip or take the Megaclips off of the nails to remove.
