I think it's interesting how Olivia Newton-John sang backup on Bruce's original version, before deciding to cover the song herself.

Wow, the original version! Never knew "Olivia's" song was a cover/remake! The original is very different from the hit. It's much faster, more of a rock and roll song. Ms. Newton-John turned it into a folk ballad.

@bitbech When you think about it, I think Olivia took the split much harder than Bruce did, and she incorporated that in her cover.
