If England was a nice safe country that didn't have rabies, surely he'd never have to touch his nose in England, but would have to keep his finger stuck to his nose the whole time he was in France, regardless of anything he said.
It would have been even harder if they worded the question differently so he would have read it "Everytime I say the word France I touch the tip of my nose" because then he wouldn't have touched his nose instantly after saying France the first time.
When I was very young, I actually did have a phobia about rabies (!) derived from watching an episode of British TV prog. "General Hospital". Then I lived in Germany for a few years and was scared that rabid mice would bite me when I slept ... What a twat.
@Clarestovold loool! I would've assumed that it was actually the opposite haha...as in when someone is lying they don't want to show their facial expression or something so they look down...and someone who is trying to remember would look up...it sort of conjured an image of thought bubbles over someone's head whilst they are trying to recall something or other lol.
Hell, given that there are people who believe that a space overlord named Xenu made the earth by putting people in volcanoes and nuking them, and this makes you have "body thetans", any claim of the existence of a religion and/or superstition is plausible.
lol he sounded pretty convincing even after getting ripped apart by David Mitchell and co

distinct look to the upper left at 0:24 is a sign of imagination, or the falsification of information in a lot of people. BODY LANGUAGE!
WubwubDubstep 1 year ago 2
@WubwubDubstep Body language rarely helps people detect lies/fiction. Most people detect it from the actual things said.
