Back in the day when it was actually cool to get featured, I got featured on youtube's homepage with my Impression Skills video. SInce then I get tons of views on my stuff. Just depends on the videos you make and the tags you put on your videos.
This was mildly entertaining lol, specially when you were speaking with an Aussie accent and you were like "my homies and sheilas" then you laughed at how stupid that was hahahah, xD and I'm from Texas but I really don't think I have any sort of particular accent.... I don't know though....maybe.....
yep you were right but at the same time i found it kinda funny and you would done better if you woulda thought out what you were gonna say and every thing but i do the same thing from time to time my best is my British though i can talk for hours on end but put another one up and plane it out thin let me know
Yeah... that's not a Canadian accent. Really, we don't talk much differently than northern Americans (except for the z = zed not zee thing). We don't do the "aboot" thing, unless you're talking with some hardcore Maritimers.
But I can't really fault you for slipping up sometimes, since you're way better at accents than I am. Entertaining video.
Canadians don't sound American at all. Many don't say "aboot" but you do say "aboat". Also Canadians tend to pronounce college like "cole-lege", process more like "pro sess" and solid like "sole lid". Also you say "sore-ry"
I don't know what Canadians you've been talking to, but I have never heard any West Coast Canadian say "aboat" or "sole lid", and my relatives in Ontario don't pronounce anything like that either. From someone who has lived in Canada my whole life, I'd say I'm more of an authority on Canadian pronunciation than you, who I assume are NOT Canadian, since you refer to Canadians as "you" instead of "we"...
Maybe you just don't hear the peculiarites in the pronunciations. I've met many Canadians, but Idk where they were from but they all pronounced the o in college and solid more like the o in old instead of more like the o in love.
lmao - this was funny and hott all at the same time . . . you could use that irish accent to get you some ass im sure - id fall for it . . . but honey u have far too much time on your hands

Tell that to kazuya1196. They didn't get the memo.
Ah, notvewycweative? That was not a very smart thing to do, writing a comment bashing American intelligence and then not speaking in proper English (or bothering to spell things properly). Kind of ironic, don't you think?
Why do people always get offended by others attempting to speak their accents? OF COURSE its no perfect, its just an attempt, and many sound pretty close for a non-native listener.
um i wont write a bad comment since i was warned.hey at least your having fun im not a hater its something i cant do so you did pretty well on my account
I'm sorry, but the Australian accent...didn't work. We don't speak like Crocodile Dundee. At all. Aside from that the others sounded fairly good to me, but then I don't natively speak in them so I don't have an ear for the specifics.
Here's the thing, I did a pretty good "posh" british accent. You don't have to like it, I even said I was mimicing Hugh Grant. I know all you brits don't have the same accent and I actually can do many other british accents, however, in this particular video I happened to run off a "posh" accent off the top of my head. So don't get your knickers in a twist.
Dude, this was pretty awesome. IMO Pikey is the best accent, but that's just my opinion. Oh, for the Canadian accent, you have to move up and down, sound almost like a donkey. I'm not kidding. You go up north, and you'll hear that.
OMG THAT WAS THE BEST THING EVER! I've always wished I had a different accent like Irish. All I can do is British, my own, a southern accent, and an Indian accent because I watch way to many Simpsons re-runs with Apu in them.... lol
where are the skills. fun to watch, but you surely must recognize that they just aren't that good. remove the skills part from the title and keep working at it.
i have to say i enjoyed mostly all the accents, and the video in general but, your "Canadian" one is quite off, to admit i think the only word you thought u did in Candian was about, HAha to admit i'm from Canada and i say about pronounced correctly (A-Bow-T. But overall very well done.

Not too bad. I watched all of it, but it was worth the wait..The Southern accent could use work, make sure you throw in a good ya'all every few minutes..and they say 'Soda', 'Coke' is usually found in the middle of the U.S. Other than that it was great. Kudos.
Quite impressive. I did a video response in an English accent to a English poster who tried to do an American accent. It is pretty fun to try and pull off. Let me know what you think of my first on camera attempt.

Your Northern Ireland is shit mate. I'm pedigree to Northern Ireland, you speak like someone from south of the Ulster border, and not very well at that. That makes it the Republic of Ireland, you ignorant, ungeographical..... ohhhh you make me wanna rip my ears off.
Thats where people are so ignorant about Southern accents. They think we all sound like Jeff Foxworthy. In Tidewater Virginia down through east North Carolina and Charleston, SC people say "oot" and "aboot" and "hoos". Its not typical garden variety southern. People don't understand how many different accents we have here in the South.
nice napoleon dynamite...i found the video entertaining because i really love accents and i just came back to the states after a month in Europe and i *really* miss it....i keep saying random words in different European languages because i'm used to them... and my mom and i always go off into random accents by accident (it's really weird).
My god! That is the most woeful attempt at a Scottish accent that I have ever heard. I don't know what you sound like, but a stoned Indian putting on an Irish accent is probably closer to the mark. The same goes for your English accent's as well. You probably garnered all your info from movies. Listen to Worldaccordingtodunk's 'British Accents'. Maybe you'll learn something.
Okay that was not Canadian at all...i should know. I want to clear somethings up. Canadians dont live in igloos and it doesnt snow 24/7 and we dont say aboot and most of us dont say eh every sentence/word. good try.
if your going to speak other peoples accents then i think you need to be respectfull and dont take all those breaks!!!! its sounds good but yoo needs to speed up m8t.XxXxX
could u help me? I've posted a video.. you can check it on my channel.. and I was just asking how my accent sounded like... I would be really glad if u could give me ur opinion
people from ireland talk fast as hell and mummble at that at the same time..oh yeah hugh grant and robert smith of the cure ARE the same person.. your eyebrows kill me..do an american hick accent...thats fricken something.
I don't think that video was very bad at all. I have quite an interest in different accents. If you can imitate Arnold Scwarzenegger, Steve Irwin, George Bush, Tony Blair and Jackie Chan, you must have a pretty good voice.
yeah, you're right, it wasn't funny, but it was still entertaining. loved just watching you blabbering on about accents and figuring out what to say, i suppose that was funny in a way. the aussie accents sounded very irish to me at some points, but I find a lot of accents somehow turn into irish accents quite easily for some reason. some times it was very convincing, which is good coming from me.
Thats cuz they talk pretty standard except for the occasional 'Ay' (Iguess). But the southern Ya'll could cancel out that one verbal flaw... Just my two cents. I'm from minnesota. There is a standard, you know, like any national news broadcasters or anything like that always have people with little to no accent because it gets annoying. Not many singers have accents in there songs. Most Minnesotan are supposedly supposed to have that 'standard' or whatever. But ya kinda bias...
Just wanted to say, awesome video, and it doesn't matter what anyone else says, you are loved by thounsands you should be proud of yourself! Great Job!
Sorry Dude as an Irish guy your accents are rubbish for European english speakers encompassing the UK and Ireland. Good effort though but I suggest you actually watch some of the local movies or programs. Also we have dozens of accents as in the UK too. Mostly these days a lot are neutral. A lot of people confuse me for being American even Irish people for my accent being so neutral
not too good mate. you have clearly never met an enlishman before, but if you were to come here saying things like "its fun to sound pompus" you might get your ass kicked
IM SURE ITS A GRAND COUNTRY haha rainy shithole NORN IRON HEY,ure northern irish accent is mangled, but fuck yeh cus i hate how people talk here its agressive as fuck in the north, wankers!haha i dunno what accent that was though it sounded like, 50 different accents mangled together, but yeh haha sometimes NORN IRON yeh retards here say that ,ARRIGHT WHATS THE CRAIC, bullshit like that
Pretty good accents. You nailed the whole Southern Coke thing, we really do call every soda a Coke here. The rest of the Southern accent really wasn't that good, most people here don't speak that white trash dialect of Southern.
Haha i loved it, Im from Australia and you did the Australian accent pretty well, ive seen some shocking ones, but yours was good! and i loved your chinese accent, made me laugh. :)

Okay that was not Canadian at all...i should know. I want to clear somethings up. Canadians dont live in igloos and it doesnt snow 24/7 and we dont say aboot and most of us dont say eh every sentence/word. good try.

I don't think that video was very bad at all. I have quite an interest in different accents. If you can imitate Arnold Scwarzenegger, Steve Irwin, George Bush, Tony Blair and Jackie Chan, you must have a pretty good voice.

dude u r not funny though i must admit it was quite entertaining..
vip1789 5 years ago
yeah, you're right, it wasn't funny, but it was still entertaining. loved just watching you blabbering on about accents and figuring out what to say, i suppose that was funny in a way. the aussie accents sounded very irish to me at some points, but I find a lot of accents somehow turn into irish accents quite easily for some reason. some times it was very convincing, which is good coming from me.
liked the cockney accent, very jamie oliver.

Canadian accents are very hard to do.
smoky90210 5 years ago
Thats cuz they talk pretty standard except for the occasional 'Ay' (Iguess). But the southern Ya'll could cancel out that one verbal flaw... Just my two cents. I'm from minnesota. There is a standard, you know, like any national news broadcasters or anything like that always have people with little to no accent because it gets annoying. Not many singers have accents in there songs. Most Minnesotan are supposedly supposed to have that 'standard' or whatever. But ya kinda bias...

Sorry Dude as an Irish guy your accents are rubbish for European english speakers encompassing the UK and Ireland. Good effort though but I suggest you actually watch some of the local movies or programs. Also we have dozens of accents as in the UK too. Mostly these days a lot are neutral. A lot of people confuse me for being American even Irish people for my accent being so neutral
magiclion 5 years ago
Yeah Im Australian and I have often got the American and Irish accents confused, they sound similar
Steven2690 4 years ago
not too good mate. you have clearly never met an enlishman before, but if you were to come here saying things like "its fun to sound pompus" you might get your ass kicked

you did a great job with the accents, but, uh...I want that prize. lol.

Pretty good accents. You nailed the whole Southern Coke thing, we really do call every soda a Coke here. The rest of the Southern accent really wasn't that good, most people here don't speak that white trash dialect of Southern.
