i was looking at 270's and there were a savage and a tikka, i personnaly liked the tikka better because its a bit more acurate, less expensive, and is super light... it weighs about 5 pounds.

i messed around with the 270 winchester for about 6 years only to go back to my child hood 30-30. my handloads are just as accurate as a 270 at equal distances. but the 270 is really up and coming.

that scope can be a facial hazard in 270 form. I shot a bird 60 metres off the ground 1500 metres away with the iron sights, the bird just fell off the top of that tree dead asap. aiming time less than 3 secs freestanding. i feel sorry 4 bird
