  • I remember this one so well. It was a good match :)

  • what city did this match take place?

  • New York City Madison Square Garden.

  • R.I.P SHERRY

  • How the fuck are you gonna post a match like this and not post the ending??????

  • virgil was so sexy then i even heard he had a huge dick from wrestlers in the locker room

  • so who won!?!!?!?!?!?

  • @ojovani Virgil by DQ "The referee has every right to disqualify The Million Dollar Man for outs... " -ide interference I guess

  • why would they put a black guy as a servant

  • @ 0:33 That's the best evil laugh I've ever heard! lmao

  • This nigga had his own personal slave. Lol!

  • damn he was such a asshole, thats why i love the million dollar man

  • Virgil is a Jabroni...Iron Sheik number one

  • sherri stays on that crack

  • dislike as the ending is missing!

  • Could any heel today have the gimmick of owning a slave and get away with it?

  • Anyone else have a thing for Sheri? :3

  • @TheCastellan i always had a thing for sherri. hard to revisit that now that she's dead tho. so sad :(

  • @blazehigherboiii Jr is more talented than Sr it's just that his father came in the right era when Jr. came in the Wrong...

  • @666Horns Don't forget The Rock

  • DiBiase's evil laugh is awesome! Ted sr. had such a huge carisma ... which his son didn't inherit at all, being so boring and anonymous.

  • Hey gAry u r so right

  • Rumor has it that Ted Dibiase and Dusty Rhodes didn't get along and that Dusty Rhodes' real name is Virgil. Thus the lackey for Dibiase's Million Dollar Man Personna was named Virgil. Can anyone verify this?

Also, in YouTube comment rumors, it was mentioned that Akeem the African Dream might've been based on Dusty Rhodes the American Dream, as well. Anyone want to comment on this as well?

  • @sableghost no, it was because Dusty was working as the head booker of WCW at the time, it was an inside joke from Vince to name Dibiase's lacky Virgil. The same joke was reversed on Vince when he went to WCW and was nenamed Vincent.

  • @sableghost

I think Vince came up with that idea, cause Dusty once asked McMann, "Why yellow spots?"

  • holy shit at 4:18, that was a hard fall

  • Virgil, thanks for listening to the King of Pop himself Michael Jackson for leaving the Million Dollar Man. Great move!!! Just kidding!

  • Racism ftw!!!

  • great evil laugh lol

  • The million dollar man character s gimmick should of been somebody that worked at one of those bail out banks.

  • Sheri is underrated ... you could tell she was a "bad guy" just by looking at her, she didn't even have to do anything ... she should have gotten a movie role

  • @theaak or soap opera part

  • Not enough upskirts of Sherri in stockings...

  • @gary108

    I don't mind 'em ;)

  • I just realized this. He's a rich guy with a black servant or sorts. I can't believe the insult going on.

  • @WebVMan if thats what you think when you watch this video then you have some issues

  • I HONESTLY CAN NOT COMPARE OR GIVE ONE MATCH THAT TOOK THE CAKE THAT NIGHT THERE WERE MANY IN THAT MATCH I CAN'T CHOOSE 1

TAG TITLES...IC TITLE....THE MILLION DOLLAR BELT (Most emotional match I ever experienced)! all were Phenomenal

  • @TheUndertaker07478 Well, Summerslam 1991 in a lot of people's opinions one of the top 5 five best Summerslams in WWE history along with 1990 and 2002.

  • What a wrestler.Old money bags.

  • virgin virgil

  • I didn't find that funny when ted debiase was treating virgil like a crap but i guess virgil was getting paid a really great pay check

  • @Selestino84

I met Virgin in person, really nice guy to meet, and he told me that during his first year, he was making so much, he was tipping waitresses in clubs with $100 bills each.

  • there was also a skit where ted sat on virgils face and farted all over him. at the end of it, there was a poo atop virgils head..he then wiped teds asshole.

  • Virgil was better than I remember, damn good athlete...

  • great match

  • Best Summerslam ever!!!

  • rich man

  • @dcm2221 summerslam 91. this wasnt too bad a match but the bret hart v mr perfect match stole the show.

  • the best wrestler back in the wwf to never be champion, my all time favrite technical wrestler ever

  • I never knew the million dollar belt was actually defened in matches.

  • @HugeDickNick Hehe, it wasn't, this was like a 'gimmick' match.

  • virgil has a huge dick and sexy body i wish i could meet him and get fucked honkey tonk was talkin bout it in an interview how big his dick was in the locker room virgil was jackin off sayin he cant ever put it all the way in a pussy

  • best laugh ever

  • Who's that lady with Ted Dibiase Sr.?

  • @HBK001100 Sherri Martel

  • @HBK001100 it's cherry

  • damn sherri was nasty bet she knew how to fck tha hell out of you Rip Beautifull

  • I was there at msg at night 08/26/1991.

  • nobody will never forget that laugh... priceless man

  • lol Virgil is black

  • dude ted dibiase is full of himself he is a good fighter but i like virgil more

  • virgil is better then the million doller man

  • Virgil the last freed slave...

  • i want the million dollar belt.

  • virgil was the only guy that has ever won the million dollar championship

  • It ticks me off that WWE wastes good superstars like virgil on crap like this. He had potential. In my opinion, they should've used sherri in this position. DiBiase and Sherri should have stayed together for their entire careers

  • Back then everybody had mic skills. Now, with kids, it's a mumbling contest.

  • @Efferts True. Even Chris Jericho mumbles nowadays.

  • where's the rest of the match?

  • i miss those days...

  • LMFAO

jERRY Lawler: I kissed sheri one time

The late great Gorilla Monsoon: Did you get a hoof and mouth disease?

  • @mackystack17 before the onslaught begins....its not the king. its roddy piper

  • @mackystack17 LOL, Sorry. I'd already posted before I saw this lol

  • @mackystack17 That wasn't Lawler who said that. It was Piper.

  • the backstage segements were way better without hearing the fake crowd cheer or boo all the time like now.

  • @MrJKA2000 or the crowd ruining it by saying what after every sentence they say.

  • the best laugh in Wrestling.

  • They could've pushed him to be a great face... Instead he was relegated to being the nWo's whipping boy, and now Ted BiBiase Jr.'s lackey... What a waste

  • totally the best laugh the WWE has ever heard lol

  • Man Virgil turning face and winning the Million Dollar Belt was HUGE. It is just too bad that after that....there really wasn't anything left for Virgil.

  • the same thing is going to happen with ted jr.

  • r.i.p sherri

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Everyone has a price!

  • Does any1 notice that Dibiase Says U have Come to face the Master...MASTER if that aint the ultimate form of Racism lol

  • What is it with people posting matches without the endings? Is this a new form of trolling?

  • just got Virgil's autograph last night at the car show in Moncton,NB, Canada.

Apparently he's a math teacher now.

  • @Verdillac2

I got an autographed picture of me with him :D

  • i wouldve been nice to see virgil win the million $ championship using the million dollar dream

  • Ted didn't get disqualified here, did he?

  • @bluethunder25

Nope. The match got restarted, Sherri got ejected, and then Virgil won.

  • i miss the Million Dollar Man

  • see my videos

  • he often laugh very ugly

  • Dibiase is the quintessential wrestling legend.

  • what the heke

  • The WWF was and still is better than the WWE.

  • This was the time when Mike Jones aka Virgil was in the process of getting a decent push. Too bad it went nowhere after the feud between him & Dibiasi ended.

  • Ted Sr. was one of if not THE best heel and let's not ever forget that villainous laugh. Truly classic!

  • You're right on point! And the laugh? Look, that's a laugh you hear if you ever have a bad dream or something and you wake up in cold sweats! Million Dollar Man! Greatest heel ever!

  • @mcneal78

    He'd make a cool film villain :)

  • @BigboyHollywood I remember watching him as a face battling against Big Bubba (Big Boss Man) way back when. I think it was the WCW, but nevertheless, I always liked his work, face or heel. He made things compelling to watch.

  • @BigboyHollywood His son is more talented..

  • @romans52345 Maybe physically, but not microphone wise.

  • you didn't show the end?

  • Million dollar man was great. His son should have taken on a similar role.

  • RIP Sherri Martel

  • I heard Monsoon say, "Will you be serious" and it reminded how he used to say that all the time. No greater broadcast team than Monsoon and Heenan.

  • is the young ted dibiase him the million dollar man

  • My favorite heel of all time, and I'm so happy he's finally being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

  • One of the greatest heels ever.

DiBiase knew how to generate heat.

  • piper, gorilla and heenan FTW!

  • Gotta love the laugh! But I was thinking... Virgil turned on Dibiase at the 1991 Royal Rumble... this match is at SummerSlam 1991... which is in august... Did they really took 8-9 months to build a rivalry for that belt and a DQ?

  • @elrealisator

Never underestimate the stupidity of WWF/E's writing crew....

  • @elrealisator back in the day they didn't have so many 'events' each week and story lines went on for longer then a week like today.

  • Dude I know... but 8 months?? They did have a weekly episodic show in 1991... How did they not met for the belt in that time??? :S It's beyond me! They even had a match at Mania that year...

  • @elrealisator

as someone else said, they had 4 ppv per year, and didn't defend them every week, thats why the Honkey tonk man has his title for over a year.

  • there really werent a lot of title matches either

  • Back when the shows had nothing but Jobbers and 4 PPV's a year. You could milk a storyline for some time.

  • yeah I know, I think as fans we have been spoiled and couldn't possbily ever go back to the Superstars vs the Jobbers on a regular basis, but I think if they only had Raw and Smackdown.....and 4 PPV's a year agian.........it would help the business............this over exposure makes the fans become jaded.

  • yeah they took it slow back then, the weekly events were just a famous guy (undertaker, macho man, etc) vs some jobber

  • i miss those days

  • i remember superstars as being kind of lame, and that was back then i cant imagine now...seeing only jobber matches...the pay-per-views were ok...i think summerslam 90 was one of the best payperviews i ever saw

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah my name is the million dollar man ted dibiase

  • Gorilla Monsoon FTW!

  • 0:12 Virgil removin Ted's Toe cheese

  • million doller man like ted debiase!

  • Ce match crain regardez pluto shawn michaels vs triple H dans le hell in a cell match sa c un MATCH

  • Piper's not full of fire, I think he's full of booze. And Sherri is high as a kite, look at her eyes in Dibiase's entrance HAHA!

  • that's all roid-rage in that interview. i mean, just look at the size of his head!

  • everytime I heard "ted di biassssssssiiiiiiiiii" with moneymoneymoney in the background i went wild. fantastic villain

  • @kindsaluv definitely one of the best heels ever

  • @kindsaluv don't forget Gorilla Monsoon's voice! :D

  • Hahahahahahhahahahhaha

  • who won?

  • Hey anybody got the video when Virgil actually cracked on Ted ? It was when Ted Dibiase' stepped in Horse shit and told Virgil Clean that shit!

  • Comment removed

  • are you fucking kidding me he is "dum" but you cant spell Dumb shouldn't virgil or dollar you cant spell at all your a fuckign dumb ass kill your self

  • mr.crab vs ted dibiase

  • Virgil turned into such a joke in WCW. He could've been something bigger than the NWO's lackey.

  • cant believe the only version of this on you tube is cut short before the end of the match

  • They would never get away with this today. Blatant slavery references.

  • this is the way wrestling should be

  • I heard that Virgil is now a school teacher...

  • nice way to cut the video off before the decision was announced dickface 1 star

  • Back when wrestling was good, ted dibiase is fucking hilarious.

  • "Listen to the ovation here"

and Piper is quietly thinking to himself, "Yeah if you shut up, we can hear the small group of people up in the corner clapping"

ha ha, just kidding. Back then, wrestling was so much fun and had such great gimmicks that they COULD put a guy like Virgil over and it would get results.

  • Dibiase played such an awesome heel

  • @mnewf2002 it was only defened a few times when vigil won the belt and when ted won it back

  • @darksayese

i was there when ted won it back....then they had it on TV almost a month later. that s how learned of tape delays lol

  • @radicalman33 thats awesome bro

  • Dibiase looks sharp

  • They really had a falling out to me. Their egos got to their heads so much and I think that VIrgil wanted out of walking Ted Dibiase to the ring. Virgil felt sidelined and that might have led to this match at SummerSlam.

  • The guy doing the interview at the beginning kind of looks like Sean Hannity.

  • It's Sean Mooney.

  • we need people like ted dibiase, jake roberts, virgil, ppl from the federation years to come back and give the young guns a challenge hahaha. i miss those that have passed on :'(

  • tassles were the order of the day

  • so dibiase kept the belt?

  • No. This video doesn't show the whole match.

  • I found another video of the match. Search for "dibiase vs. virgil" and you should find it as well. It's a three-parter and shows all of this plus what happened next. The ref chose NOT to disqualify Ted, ordered Sherri to the back, and ordered the match to continue. Virgil ultimately won the match and the belt, and Ted was pissed as hell. :D

  • As they battle outside the ring, Heenan quotes - The Life You Save, Might Be Your Own - That is a famous Arn Anderson line. Ted DiBiais would have made an awsome Horseman

  • To this day, I still believe Virgil could have been a huge star if Mcmahon had used him right...believe it or not but Virgil did have talent!! GO VIRGIL!!

  • Gorilla and The Brain Heenan were the best double act and commentry team the WWE ever had. Doesnt really show here but they were just awesome in the 80s and early 90s I miss those days.

  • Back when WWE was good!!! Today there is no heels, no gimicks to be honest wrestling today is pretty stale.

  • I totally agree!

  • so does he keep the belt?

  • yeah

  • Dibiase was a legend, and Virgil's role in the WWF at the time was classic. It's a shame Dibiase was never made WWF Champ but maybe that's why he had that the Million Dollar Belt to compensate for that. Now that i really look at the Dibiase matches, i've only now realised how much Hogan did hog the show at times. Not in the same league at B. Hart, Dibiase, Savage to name a few

  • Big difference between the announcing here and the announcing in WCW with Schiavone: When Heenan came out after being rejected, they talked about it for a second, then returned to focusing on the match. In WCW, they would have ignored the match to talk. Of course, this wasn't just any match, but you know what I mean.

  • "I kissed Sherri once." Did you get foot and mouth disease?." Classic!

  • is she dead now???

  • yes she died in 2007 at the age of 49......
