I found another video of the match. Search for "dibiase vs. virgil" and you should find it as well. It's a three-parter and shows all of this plus what happened next. The ref chose NOT to disqualify Ted, ordered Sherri to the back, and ordered the match to continue. Virgil ultimately won the match and the belt, and Ted was pissed as hell. :D

Dibiase was a legend, and Virgil's role in the WWF at the time was classic. It's a shame Dibiase was never made WWF Champ but maybe that's why he had that the Million Dollar Belt to compensate for that. Now that i really look at the Dibiase matches, i've only now realised how much Hogan did hog the show at times. Not in the same league at B. Hart, Dibiase, Savage to name a few
