Starcraft 2 Beta running on 2007 Macbook 1/3

I've never played the beta version, but there is a considerable amount of lag in the final version on my macbook from late 2007/early 2008. I have an intel core2 duo @ 2.2ghz, 4GB RAM, X3100, lowest settings on everything and still only get about 14 fps in the beginning and 5-8 fps in the late game. I tried it under MacOS and Win7 and there is no performance difference.

@BlackCosmicGate i have the same problem. I get 10 to 15 fps in the beginning and 3 or 4 in late game, i want to sell it or get a new one, i hate not being able to play sc2 decently.

@mrcr4ck3r I found a way to increase the fps rate in Win7. If you boot into Win7 (via bootcamp) you should install the newest drivers for the x3100. It's called Intel Grapics Media Accelerator (Version 15.12.75.4.1930)  and you can find it on the Intel website. It increases fps considerably to the lower 20s in the beginning and the lower 10s in the late game. It's definitely more playable than before, but still not perfect. There doesn't seem to be any new driver for MacOS.

ok so i got the game and i dont believe GMA 950 is compatible with the graphics of the game. i get the black screen of death..

@gameral05 when you start up SC2 the screen goes black but theres audio. its sucks

@gameral05 ok, nevermind, there IS a frames counter in sc2. just press control option f. yes, i realize that i could probably get about 50% more performance if i just used bootcamp, but to be honest ill sacrifice a little visual quality for the convenience of not having to reboot every time i wanna play starcraft.

@egos25 no windows needed its a mac /pc game and it will run on this i know because my uncle has it (im not the guy that uplaoded this) and you can run it on medium its soo much bettter

@seongapple I don't do anything special. It's a fresh install of Windows 7 with Bootcamp 3.2 (the one that comes on the snow leopard disc)

doesn't the game lags when you have like a huge battle with other player? such as mass zealot and stalkers vs mass marines and marauders.
