@awfisch I wouldn't discount Google and Android. Google is just so big, and Android is such a big player in the phone market and now in the tablet market with entries such as Kindle Fire. Time will tell, you may be right. My fear is that Apple without Jobs will flounder. We saw it once already.

@shady777 I use windows 7 and MAC OS X on two different computers. I agree Windows 7 is good, but it lacks a simplicity that Windows XP had. And it requires so much more memory to run. But I do agree with you that Windows 7 is a fine OS.
@jgrig2 yes but XP was developed in 2001. Windows 7 in 2009. it's ages. and WIn7 actually uses way less memory than XP if you take into account that in 2009 you could buy much more RAM for the same price as 8 years earlier.

Steve and Bill are the two most intelligent people, have great respect for each other and love all humans. They have provided work for millions of people. Apple is now the biggest company in the world with market value bigger than exxon. Microsoft is in the top ten.

@gaurav112j I used PC's for decades & now I have an iMac 27 with no fuss, no muss & no hassles. The iMac is powerful enough to operate 2 O/S with a program called "Boot Camp" that allows me to run Snow Leopard (OS10) or Microsoft's Windows O/S on the opposite side of the partition. That's the best of both worlds! No MS software goes to waste and if I go on the internet with OS10, I don't have to worry about viruses & the computer runs faster without Norton hogging resources in the background.

Mac and PC are like the characters of Final Fantasy 7. If you want an ameteur with many problems, get PC, Get Cloud. But if you want what you want, when you want it with power, precision, perfection, and sexy graphics, GET A MAC

@rustywoodenspoon I think that the Mac in that case would be the sexy character with all balanced abilities which makes it easier for beginners to use, while PCs would be everything else, from the most powerful character to the weakest.

@gaurav112j I used PC's for decades & now I have an iMac 27 with no fuss, no muss & no hassles. The iMac is powerful enough to operate 2 O/S with a program called "Boot Camp" that allows me to run Snow Leopard (OS10) or Microsoft's Windows O/S on the opposite side of the partition. That's the best of both worlds! No MS software goes to waste and if I go on the internet with OS10, I don't have to worry about viruses & the computer runs faster without Norton hogging resources in the background.

The GD EVO 4g would never exist without the iPhone, neither would googles android interface in it's current incarnation is iOS didn't change everything. Not a fan boy. It just the truth and I love all the competition. Makes for better products and cheaper prices.
