  • waist of life the seeking of permits is.

  • please do the the you just cost me 6000$ scene :)

  • LAME FUCKING NIGGERS

  • hate to add on criticism

    but it's the beats.

    the rhythm is all wrong.

it's way too slow and feels awkward.

mamet is not to be fooled until you get your rhythm together.

  • that means don't fool with (attempt) mamet until you get your timing perfect.

  • You can tell you are acting. It doesn't look genuine. Another words, its shit.

  • I actually thought this was very well acted. It's hard to follow a legendary performance by legendary actors, but these guys did a good job.

  • Not bad eh.

You should try Baldwins monologue at the start. That would be great.

  • I'm really getting pissed reading some of these comments. This production is excellent and the idea that commentators who know nothing about the craft of acting are discouraging the actors, directors and production people gets me madder than hell.

    Again, this was excellent!

Also, please post more of this production or tell us where we can find more.

  • Hey, thanks for your positive comments. This was made as an assignment for a class that I did, so this is the whole of the production. As such, I'm very happy with what we have. In response to some of the nay-sayers: the actors did not have much time to prepare for the scene. We do realize that this is not a hollywood production of Glengarry Glen Ross, but thank you for considering it close enough to compare.

  • This was excellent, the best I've seen so far. I actually found this one clip more interesting the the original and this astounds me.

No one is a harsher critic than me and I loved what I saw in this short clip.

There are two minor points I can't help wondering if they're what turned some people off.

First, the Moss guy's beard is horrible and distracting as hell.

Second, the Moss guy is not a smoker and so was holding his cigarette all wrong and this was a distraction too.

  • When you act, you have to feel as if you yourself are coming up with the words that leave your mouth. You don't just recite lines and move your head around.

You have to prepare for your roles, not by reciting the script you've read, not by memorization, but by sitting alone in a room and quietly believing that you are the spontaneous author of each word.

  • terrible. acting isnt for everyone. try something else

  • "A buck a half a throw"

    die now

  • The cinematography and sound were very good. Everything but the acting. The Moss character clearly thinks acting is about putting on a performance.

  • Are you serious? Very hard to watch.

  • The problem is that the Moss character speaks each and every line with an intense "meaningfulness" -- even when Moss pretends to brush George off with the "we're just talking..." stuff...

  • these guys aren't bad. Though what makes it unnatural is that they are simply too young for the roles.. Filling Pacino's Lemmon's Harris' shoes is no joke!! my 2 cents..

  • omg killl urself hetis is teh awful.

  • Oh man, that was hard to watch. A little side note: If you're not a smoker in real life, avoid smoking in a scene at all costs...If you absolutely have to smoke in a scene then practice it a little. That guy looked so awkward with that cigarette in his hand.

  • This redefines the word "lame." Holy crap! These guys don't really call themselves actors, do they? Why would they hold themselves up to such ridicule? Maybe if it was a parody; but these guys looked serious. They both looked like they got fucked with a dead cat!

  • OMG. This is soooooooooo awful.

  • 0:54, ouch.

  • Tucker Carlson as George Aranow?

  • lousy acting, unnatural, fake

  • way too forced, mamet would cry were he to see this.

  • nice key lighting and good production value
