@danwperry its hard to compare agility and speed... there are positions in the NFL where guys are big just like in ARL, but there are also positions where they are leaner and faster too...in fact most postions require being lean and fast in the NFL... its a misunderstanding that people think otherwise. But yeah the average weight in the NFL is around 220.... its not that much bigger than ARL... there are 300 lbs guys butt theres only 5 per offense. plus its different formations.

So I play American Football and 15's Rugby. In my area of Utah they happen to be in each others off season. I've never heard of Australian Football until today. i'd like to add that afl isnt the only sport that has a million things going on, both sports do but only the dedicated fans can see that, like in football, positioning is key but you dont notice it. there is so much going on.

You don't wait around for something to happen because a million things are happening at once. @Zac221191 Nothing above the shoulder, unless you duck into the tackle. no tackles below the knee. bumps are legal as long as you're within 5-10 m of the play. you generally try to avoid head high bumps but shit happens sometimes. most of these were legal except the obvious snipe by the black and white fag...

There are torn ligaments, shattered bones, concussions, broken ribs, etc. How much force do you think it's needed to cause all that through protective gear? you're an idiot. AFL is a full contact sport & is considered to be one of the roughest sports in the world - rougher than NRL& AmericanFB! There is no body armour or protection used by the Athletes! Unlike most sports it requires a certain amount of strength & a shit load of fitness!! (on average players run around 13-16km in one match, much more than most other sports)
