  • ive tried to do it without hands but i didnt really know how but then i did it on my first try!!! also the no handed one is kinda like the normal one but it forces you to use your leg more.

    I am encountering one problem though, i started on a mattress, so i didn't hurt myself, and i can do it easily. but now when i go to do it on a hard floor, i cant. is this a phycological or physical thing?

  • @4SecondStudios Definitely... if you can do it on something soft, you can def do it on something more solid. It should be easier!

  • @18kehawkin actually... if you look it up on Wikipedia (and most anywhere else) it is Kip Up

  • You are so right. This is he exercise I always do to do a kip up.

    It is easy after you keep doing it.

  • @NeverEndingPromises you may need to do it without your hands..... if you use your hands you do it at the last second and its almost like your are doing a quick handstand

  • lol, I just realized what I was doing wrong when trying to do a (shotgun) kip up, its funny how basic of a mistake it was, instead of kicking up when I got back onto my shoulders I was using the momentum from my kick to get onto my shoulders (which isn't a problem at all without the kick.) it really is all about timing isn't it? Man thats funny, its one of those things you just say "wow, really? now I feel stupid" to.
