They made her self aware and killed everyone. then portal began.

However, in Portal, the last test chamber is supposed to kill you, no matter what you do. no, you ARE supposed to die. in portal prelude, eric and peter say that the test subject isn't supposed to get outside the test chamber. they say it in the chamber that catches on fire, i think chamber 15. the only way to survive chamber 19 in portal is to escape the test chamber. which the employees obviously dont want.

My own interpretation of this anomaly: As you're no doubt aware, all the test chambers are pretty malleable, one sees both the hydraulics which power the changing rooms, and GLaDOS even changes some rooms dynamically at times. My guess is that after she (it?) went mad and killed the staff, GLaDOS set about reformatting the test chambers to murder the subjects as well.

Yes. You can get it at gamestop, it's only 10 dollars. (I think. May only have been the week I got it.) And, you'd probably get the original first. Prelude is VERY hard.

I personally don't like this mod. It seems the only kind of 'hard' puzzles they know how to do are ones that involve jumping down into portals and shooting out the other end and trying to land on a ledge. They're not even hard to work out, they're just frustrating to actually execute.

if you think you cheated out chamber 18 by that door, u was wrong. U need to go to chamber 19, shoot a portal behind the stairs, go to the top of the building, and activate test chamber 19. Thus u need to do the 18th first, cos it will give u a campanion cube <3 (also, there are these prelude walkthru vids, those can help u aswell.
