@MrRandomness4567 Xbox's online is already free, the non-paid version is the Silver one, the Silver can only play Multiplayer, whereas the gold can do alot more.

@yay99str yeh sory to burst your bubble but online is not free i know what you mean with the silver version but you cant play multiplayer with silver you have to get gold with silver you cant even private chat with people it's really limited to downloading demos game videos etc but DEFINETLY no multiplayer if you wanna play online with your friends you need a gold subscription

@MrRandomness4567 yeh man i got a 360 and a ps3 and it always pisses me off how the 360 dont have free online i mean 40£ a year isnt expensive but it is really annoying when you are online with your friends and suddenly without even realising your xbox live gold membership runs out and you godda go out and buy another one, plus you godda type in like a 20 digit code if you buy the live subscription in store a real pain in the ass
