  • Just finished Tom Bethell's book, "George Lewis/A Jazzman from New Orleans" which piqued my interest in Mr. Pavageau, Jim Robinson, and Bill Russell. Then, I just happened to stumble across this post via a friend's link...what a treasure!  Thanks for posting this - all around great playing that pulls you out of your chair and makes you dance!!
