  • Suburban didn't you know that if you show the slightest bit of logic or common sense, you're automatically sacked from the position of road management.. You have to prove beyong a shadow of a doubt that you do not possess the slightest bit of common sense, and that given the choice you will ALWAYS opt for the most awkward, difficult, and PITA choice available. Just to make things as damn difficult for the public as possible.

  • @crushed51 Sounds like a few of my old bosses I have worked for also. LOL

  • You passed the driver's test because you made it over there without getting run over! Bad hair day! It all started off with that slow truck from Andersen Windows! Good video.

  • So true.

At least once inside the DL place they just were wanting me to pay 15 bucks and get the heck out.

    I liked that part.

  • Gee , where do I start , I thought New York was bad , nice stop. I know its not about watching the videos , I was just very pleasantly surprised and it is absolutely about the brotherhood. We are all connected by a common passion. Thanks so much for the shout out. Hope you did well on your test and had a great fourth, Ride safe brother.

  • They didn't even want to see my extra ID I brought.

Just wanted my 15 bucks and to get me out of there fast.

    Works for me. LOL

  • Might be a good thing you missed it. The balance on the Concouse seems a bit high. There are lots fo v-twins out there by Kawasaki and others that almost balance themselves in turns. If this economy is the same next year it's less than 50 - 50 chance I can do the trip too. But we could still do a meet up in Omaha and I could go with you part of the way.

They haven't had rotation tests in Illinois for quite some time. However if you have tickets or an accident they can require it.

  • Thanks for the shout out dude. I got you and the cowboy to shout out to me in the same week for the same vid. Wow!

Looking forward to that trip. There's been a minor set back though. Somebody bought the Concourse the same day I made the gas pump video. Oh well. I don't believe you have to re-test for either DL or the MCL in NYS, This is unusual since NYS usually regulates everything up the yin yang and then charges fees and taxes to do it.

It's a GAS that you liked the GAS Pumps video!

  • Oh and BTW, here in Tennessee our DL last's for 5 years. You can renew it via the internet. 10 years you have to go to the DMV and get a new picture.

  • First, thank for the shout out buddy. I really hope to make it to the Gap. If you happen to make the ride with KeukaRider, that will be another scooter you would have ridden with. Pretty soon, you will come over to "The Darkside" and we will have another Maxi-Scooter convert! LOL You would have seen a Burgman 650, a T-Max and with KeukaRider, a Burgman 400. Just remember us scooter riders, really don't give a SHIFT! HaHaHa. Thanks again buddy.

  • I still am so in love with that little silver and blue Schwinn scooter. That little thing was pure fun on two wheels even if it was only a 150 cc machine. If I had more money I would own it or a similar one.

  • Here in MD, the license is good for 5 yrs. To renew it, you surrender the old one, get a new photo and a vision test, give them $30, and you're good to go. Pretty painless, really.

The main thing that I like about the MD MVA system is that the only time a passenger vehicle or motorcycle requires an inspection is when it gets re titled (changes owners).

  • There are no inspections required for vehicles yet. Cars do have an exhaust check every two years for emissions.

  • In Missouri it's good for 5 or 10 years, I think. But to renew you need to show your passport or birth certificate, social security card, AND proof of residency (bill, etc.). It's things like this that make this the "Show Me" State. *sigh*

Your vlogs still make me homesick! :-( Especially when you pass by Elgin like that. Man, it's gonna be good to be home for a season!

  • Not much longer and you can be here to enjoy the traffic and construction. LOL

I brought in extra ID and she said, "What is this for?"

I said, "In the letter it said to bring it."

She handed it back and said, "Keep it."

  • Oh i almost forgot to add, that police officer in his cruiser which should of had his siren sounding out way before he got that close to that junction! :)

  • True, he was not more than two car lengths away at most and coming around a curve to an intersection when he flipped it on.

NOT a safe practice in my opinion.

  • How often do you have to renew your drivers license in the states? You only have to do it here when you look totally different to your picture, like, 15 years or so... Also, very cool video, i like watching videos of your streets etc and the other drivers.

  • In Illinois it's every four years. They have been letting me renew by mail the last few times and I put a sticker on back. I think after so many years they want you to come in because like you said the appearance tends to change. My old license said brown hair. Not true any more. :-)

  • Arrr, i forgot about that too, in the states you have your actual detials don't you like blue eyes, height etc?

Here you just have, home adress, date of birth and photo haha

  • Yes height, weight, eye color, and hair color.

  • hahaha even your weight? Oh thats funny!

Ill make a video about licenses i think haha
