  • I love Alan's wince as his buzzer-plane explodes.

  • if they replaced pam with Jo Brand or Ross Noble it would be the best lineup ever.

  • she looks like a strawberry

  • @atlibach6 I was going to say the same exact thing, I'm glad I'm not the only one!

  • is pam ayers from norfolk?

  • Holy shit son an episode haven't seen! After a year of watching!

    And I thought mondays sucked.

  • I don't like Johnny Vegas in this show, but he wasn't as annoying in this episode!

  • "It was poofed out. It was exhausted from its exertions..." Why do I find that incredibly hilarious??

  • Aww I think Pam Ayres is lovely, and what an awesome life she's had!

  • Something about Johnny Vegas makes me feel like I should dislike him, but he keeps me waiting for a reason to. He's ineffably hilarious

  • 32,000 meters isn't 18 miles, it's about 21

  • 3:29 lol

  • Stephen seems quite contemptuous of whatsername. I wonder if she was there solely on John Lloyd's insistence.

  • I love the way people say "im American and I love this show". Its like saying, I´m retarded but even I can see why this is good! haha

  • @hirizeproductions it's nothing to do with intelligence. Humor tends to be pretty unique to each country, and it doesn't always get as good a reception overseas as it would in its country of origin. Saying you're American and still find British humor funny is a compliment, it means it still translates well overseas.

  • @BeyondRelativity You don't need intelligent celebrities, just use comedians. They are generally the smartest of the celebrities anyway.

  • adam ant is german?

  • @dannymcc1 :D adamant's not a name, it's an adjective. it means something like being persistent. ;)

  • @WorldFullOfNothing haha i know i was just being flippant, as they mentioned adam ant earlier in the show (i think)

  • alan looks like toad from wind in the willows

  • I'm a dandy highwayman!"

QI has slowly made me fall in love with Sean Lock. And TV heaven/hell.

  • I missed this episode the first time through! Loved that "Its puffed/poofed" bit.

  • Ive noticed Rich Hall is appearing less, I won't say I didn't like him as a regualr but he did tend to lack a certain something, I'm glad others are being given the opportunity instead in these later episides

  • @bluejeckett He's funny, but I think its hard to keep up coz its British comedy.

  • 'and suddenly they all go plonk'

    then the clip ends lol

  • who speaks at 3:49? what are you fckin arse.... sth like that i hear.

  • @tutumasallah its stephen he says if i can ask

  • @tutumasallah "How high up were you, if I can ask?"

  • Alan has come as Rupert Bear, how sweet.

  • god bless all of you who put these episodes up on youtube!

  • im American and this is my favorite show

  • You can never have too many "good evenings" from Stephen Fry.

  • I love Sean Lock's shirt!

  • @jennielejon I was just going to say, I think he looks really quite good in it. Is that wrong of me? He's probably at least 20 years older than I am x)

  • Alan makes this show.....such a funny guy

  • Well, for what it's worth, I'm Indian, I'm 16 and I love this show!

  • is it just me or does Pam Ayres look just like a strawberry with that jacket?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm from Australia and this show is one of my favourites. Along with Jonathan Creek and The IT Crowd.

Why is it that Australian and American Humour doesn't come close to British? :)

  • @GraceGrass548 because the British are brilliant people

  • i think its funny that allan is actually really intelligent and well travelled/read etc.

  • "... and then they just go plunk!" and the video ends, lol

  • "poisson aeroplane", lol XD

  • Johnny Vegas looks so cute in his pilot cap! xD

  • I am so hooked on this show

  • "...and also you know you're not going to die." hehe

  • I finally get to the hallowed XL episode and it isn't one of the "classic" panels?! Jeremy Clarkson would have been great for this one.

  • SEAN LOCK <33

  • what a great way to end part 1

" and they all go plonk"

  • I can't pinpoint what it is exactly, but I just love Johnny Vegas. I want to have him over for tea. Hopefully he would jump out the window at some point ;)

  • im American and i love this show!!!

  • Hell yea! same here!

  • @nora8brian

im happy you like this show cus british humor can be hard to keep up with

  • @nora8brian How extraordinary for an American to enjoy a British show. People aren't usually that open to things.

  • @COWCHUNK How ignorant of you.

  • @kefka11000 Sarcasm. Look it up.

  • @nora8brian me to, you sounded like you were about to say "hello, I'm american and i'm a QI addict.

  • @nora8brian me too!

  • @nora8brian I'm Canadian and I love this show too!

  • @nora8brian cool story bro

  • i wont pretend i know who pam is, but she was pretty boring on this. she was brilliant at digging herself out of the 'puffed' hole. jeremy clarkson would have been interesting on this show i think.

  • @Blink182DudeRanch I agree, she's not really right for this show. But she's famous for writing amazingly funny poems :)

  • It's quite interesting that stephen said "the germans were the kind of utter swine who wouldn't lay cricket" because his great grand uncle I believe, C.B. Fry a professional cricket player tried to convince hermann von Ribbentrop that he Germans should start playing cricket, before the war started. I can't vouch for this it was on wikipedia, but if it's true that's quite interesting...

  • I heard that the skydiving from space guy broke the soundbarrier in freefall - I don't know that it's true, but it's a cool thought.

  • @TobiasTurkelton No he didn't- he approached it. But that man is supporting another skydiver- forget the name- who is about to attempt to break his record and is expected to break the sound barrier.

  • obviously not true

  • ....Wait a second, Alan looks kind of like a palette-swapped version of the Little Prince.

  • "When I was obviously built for dancing."

I didn't like Johnny Vegas in Series E Episode 3, but he had me in stitches all the way throughout this episode.

  • @KeladryL funny. That was my favourite episode purely because of him.

  • @KeladryL same here...

  • @KeladryL I find him annoying sometimes as well. But sometimes he comes out with a gem of brilliance.Like when he said as a joke that corn flakes where invented to prevent masturbation & he turned out to be right.
