  • people can say what they want about doo i dont know him. but when you watch movies of male singers an you understand how their wives grow lonely, or tired of their husbands not being there. or their husbands spending time with other people making them feel 2nd to the fame.so understand his point just like you do when the gun is pointed the other way.

  • I was born in the middle of 4:10....:-).....good to watch this movie again...thanks for posting, txcowgirl18.

  • my mother and her was neighbors back in kentucky and it used to make me laugh some of the stories she could tell and her accent she did it with. but man talk about a high tempered bunch of people though. whooo. never piss of a man or woman from kentucky. lol godbless

  • @5492514 I was your mothers neighbor, from WV. What you are saying is very true as well for the mountains area.

  • that part where he's driving and patsy cline's "crazy" is playing..and sissy is kissing and cuddling him and telling him she loves him..is SO passionate and romantic..one of my favorite parts of the movie

  • haha i LOVE how she rambles on to that guy in the radio station..

"well why'd ya lie to us"

"why'd ya say they didnt like us"

"we drove alll the way here, spent every dime we had"

"i cant believe you'd do something daggom mean as that"..

  • This is my all-time favorite movie! The "horny" scene kills me "ever" time!

  • God i love sissy! She is definitely one of my fav actresses.

  • "Miss Loreen Lynn"

    Doo: "What?!"

  • LOL he should have told her what it meant.

  • Though I don't collect alot of Loretta's music, this a fine movie and Loretta's story is as inspiring as they come.

  • The song that's playing in the store when Doo and Loretta are buying bologna, takes me back. That's the kind of "old-skool country music" that my grandparents still listen to. I've heard it, my entire life and I find it extremely comforting. : )

  • Doo & Loretta were really traveling up & down the West Coast promoting her single, not the Kentucky area, they changed things around for the movie. At a radio station in Arizona (Phoenix?) one of the deejays was a man named Waylon Jennings. Love this movie, one of my favorites.

  • @wlhardy Yeah, that's true. I love this movie, I've watched it many times, but the autobiography is even better. :-)

  • they hit up so many radio stations and been on the road so long they had no clue about being number 14.

  • @5492514 WOW HOW EXCITING..... I WISH I WERE ABLE TO SEE ALL OF THAT.. HOW NEAT, WHAT A LIFE YOU HAD

  • @robindawn5 thank you. yea i used to raise a few quarter horses while selling stock trailers. and i ended up being good friends with george strait. godbless

  • I love how Doo is totally speechless when he finds out that Loretta was on the charts at #14... And the way she says "thank you " to the station DJ... I think she was just as stunned as her husband was...

  • Damn asses didn't even play her song til she saw it and had to say something to them about it - glad she stood up for herself and went off on him! Probably to this day that's why alot of artists both rock and country never make it big because they are "swept under the rug"

  • "cut up Mexican Silly".

    Is that right?

  • She says "cutting up and acting silly"

  • Poor girl shoulda kept a Louisville Slugger under her pillow.
