The Nissan Versa is a great car. So is the Chevrolet Aveo. I've compared the two internet shopping and I personally found both to be top of competition.

There was a measured 1 1/8" of head clearence with me! I had to floor it to get it to do 0-60 in 11.6 seconds, and I had to give it 85% gas to maintain speed up a 30 degree hill! There is more room in the glove box than the cargo area! This has got to be the most bullshit video ever!

I'm just telling my true story, and I will brake my brother's car again so he will get another Versa loner. The Mini is an extremily luxurious vehicle. Infact, my friend has one, an S, with nav, pwr everything, 6spd, all JCW options, and the sport package. Yes, he paid $37K, but it is 100x the car. I know for a fact, with a video taken but accidentally deleted (lost everything else on my card with it), that we had to go almost a half a mile to accelerate from 60 to 75. That's downright sad.
I have NO issues accelerating from 50/60 to over 80 in my Versa (I have the 4spd Auto) - and I know that the 6 speed accelerates VERY nicely (as I test drove the 6 speed version) before getting this one.
Versa was the only car I felt comfortable in, after replacing my aging Camry. It's got tons of room that provides the impression and feel of a much larger vehicle when driving one.

I drove an Aveo as a rental for couple a days and I own a 2011 bought a week ago.
There 's no way you can compare the two cars.
Aveo feels like a toy car,from the lack of power to the cheap interior look.
