iv seenthem both live many many times..and ocs are far and away the better live band, more anthems, better and stronger voices and def better instrument playing.sozza to all the die hard oasis fans but its true.
i completely agree with you, fowler's vocals are incredibly powerful, the studio sometimes takes the soul out of his vocals, better live, for example, listen to " so low" it's a top tune LIVE!, but the recording is just AWFUL!, overproduced, and made him sound like a sissy, recorded right,. and that song would have been a massive! hit, they are GREAT! band
How come all these great nineties bands faded away and Oasis managed to stay near the top all these years? Do you think it was the album after Marchin' Already that killed OCS' mainstream mega success?
na marching already had a few singles if i remember right. it was the one after that, one from the modern, that didnt sell very well. i only remember one single from it then they disapeared.
Recently I got back into them in a big way and find all their later albums kick more ass even than mosely sholes.
is 1 of the added vocals the biographer of Paul Weller, OCS, Oasis(Marco something)?
The song is amazing and also STEVE (my best guitarist ever), we noted he fucked up the first solo only since we have the video, if we were there no problem!!!!
@squeakyadam dude i know its a beatles song, but i was referring to an argument about who was the better guitarist, noel or steve. and i said craddocks a better guitarist but noel is a better songwriter. obviously just my opinion though
very much a fan of The Beatles apparently - he buys into the Beatles idea of listen to the music and put something in that fits into it , instead of being flash and over playing . The Beatles were all good sidemen for each other .
Noel was a good song writer until he gave up drugs and started to run out of ideas , he just calls himself a strummer and says Weller is the real guitar player type .
oasis my fav band, OCS my fav LIVE band, awesome.
