Only thing I can come up with was for the videos to be selected. I played a song called July for one video, and the other was prolly because I used 24!7 as my score name...

They said that the picture was locked, but perhaps the picture is a superset of the final cut and they are adjusting now the final cut and this is the possible reason of the secrecy about the selected clips.

It better have more raw footage than what I suspect thus far.... a lot of it seems filmed by people that have experience in film school/have access to high quality equipment. I want to see REAL RAW, aka people that just take a camera and just film random stuff in their day.

@KrisMTL They're making a fucking MOVIE. They're not going to only use the crappy footage and throw out the good stuff just because it was shot by someone who knows what they're doing. They're using the footage that tells the story they're trying to tell, regardless of the quality. But if they have a choice between 2 similar shots, they're not going use the one shot by a kid on his cell phone.

Even with a cheap cam, you can make it look good, if you know what you're doing.

We all knew that there was a slim chance of being chosen (out of the thousands); and there was a certain theme to the project (that we tried to be a part of), but when it came down to it, the filmmakers found the vision based on everything they looked at. But at least all the entries are in the 'Life In A Day" globe on their YouTube home page.
