That's exactly what I thought when I saw the video. It can be due to the perspective or camera angle. I have the Duesenberg catalogue and in it the neck looks relatively similar to normal guitars like a Tele- or Stratocaster. But I don't mind so much, as a bassist I'm used to thicker calibers! :)

His guitar playing is very good, being a very nervous man in front of the camera, and he is playing lead while singing, and we all know Bob sets his own timing.
