  • I prefer RC Cola myself... Yes, I said it.. RC... ;)

PS - For retro lovers.. make sure you grab the Retro Pepsi, in stores now... it won't last that much longer...

  • I think the new coke tasted like one of those obscure cola brands that you never heard of before at a discount store. I remember the when the new coke came out, people were scouring the grocery stores for whatever bottles of the old coke they could find!

  • The smoke is amazing

  • I liked them both, and I guess I still miss the new Formula. Of course I say the same thing about Mint Flavoured Snapple but that one will never come back.

  • After the New Coke fiasco, it was sold along side Coke Classic for a while. I remember trying it while on a family trip to the States one year. It was OK for a cola, and it went down pretty smooth. That's all there is to say about it.

  • Too bad new coke didn't last long, classic coke rules!!!

  • Retro Pepsi is good shit.I emailed Pepsi Canada and they thanked me for my support of it (its a big deal since I am a life long Coke drinker) but that it was a limited one time only deal (right now anyway) so you'd better stock up. As for the new Coke, I was born in 85 too, so I never experienced it. Wish they would bring it back as Coke 2 or something like that.I'm with spachette it couldn't be THAT bad.

  • I was born in '85 and didn't get the opportunity to try the "New Coke", unfortunately. I've heard stories about people making a big "to-do" about the changing of the recipe, until the changed it back to the original formula. Was it really that bad?

  • @apachette07 Way too big a deal was made out of the change: I couldn't tell the difference!

  • Retro Pepsi was kinda lame...I didn't care for it.

  • Dude, Pepsi Throwback is exactly the same as Pepsi in Canada (all that's *added* in regular Pepsi is Glucose-Fructose, which is pretty much already sugar). In the US, they've replaced sugar with corn syrup in the recipe.

  • @RetroWinnipeg I think Glucose-Fructose is the name given to corn syrup in Canada, actually.
