i really would have liked to see LITS. I saw a wave goodbye show and that was just fucking brilliant. but this, this would have given me several spiritual orgasms.
Ill be honest, and itll sound cliche, but its gotta be said. This guy will hit some type of chord in you. Its like the fucker is an emotional tuning fork. I am a big fan of Pink Floyd, Peal Jam, Manson, those type of bands. But i shit you not, I heard "Right Where it Belongs" the first time, it switched something in me off. I dont know what it was, if its good or bad, but that song and his music hit something, and itll never be the same.
I wouldn't care if trent never did another studio album again because the live stuff from the last year or so is killer. The new tunes sound better live and the new versions of the old tunes are either so heavy its ridiculous, or really slick (see "piggy").
It was towards the end of the tour, I'm sure he was needing a bit of a break after all of that. I know when he played in CT he had to cancel his show in Worcester MA the next day cause his voice was strained a bit much. Regardless, he came back and put on a hell of a show for everyone.
I would have to say this was the best show I've ever been to in my entire life. Trent is fucking amazing. I was in there somewhere shouting my lungs to the lyrics :)
Background reminds me of the intro to Blade Runner, one of my favourite songs of year zero(a hard thing to be, seeing a I love all of them). Wish i had been there, can't wait til they come to europe.
i fucking love NIN and i fucking love In This Twilight, I saw them at lollapalooza and it was the greatest concert ive been to, and this was the last song, to anyone who has the chance to see them live, DO IT!
I wholeheartedly agree. Trent is the absolute god of music, if there ever was one. I was sortof sad that they didn't put The Great Destroyer on the setlist....
This is just too amazing for words. I can't believe I got to see them at thier LITS tour and hope they come back for more. I had chills through the entire song and the ending was just amazing.
I always wanna cry when i watch the end of this

I'm not trying to preach but there's a reason this was the last song, listen to the lyrics. It's the message he wanted to stay fresh.
Thanotubis-it was either Great Destroyer of Vessel, I wish I would've seen Vessel, more improve and better light show, imo.
All that said, Trent is the fucking man and I love him. Amazingly sick beats with that filthy, raw edge.
I believe Thom York, Trent Reznor, and The Rza are the three most talented individuals but collectively Tool is the best. Again imo....

What a classy and memorable way to end a show.
So glad we've all gotten the privilege of witnessing in my opinion the greatest musical mastermind of my lifetime.
