I'm so peaceful to hear this song. I'm Khmer, but i don't hate Thia, I love everybody . I want Khmer and Thia to be blend together so well just like this song, if we do we will live in peaceful. I found this song by accident; at first I wondered and asked myself who is she?is this really her singing, her voice? is she half Thia half American? how can she sings in Khmer? khmer surin is so good, put their traditional music in abot modern, dress in khmer apsara costume, with khme dance ,speak two language that khme surin used ,produced a song apart from another ethnic in thailand, show their khmer identity to another. I meant to say the Thai king loved our dance so much he requested all of the cambodian dancers to thailand to teach his dancers at the royal palace, and since then it became a tradition. Most of our dancers were killed in the cambodian genocide, so most dance were erased from our culture because most dances are memorized & never written or recorded. So the Cambodian queen had to create new dance moves since we cannot use our old ones, because no one knows it anymore only the thai dancers.

A large amount of Khmer people live in Thai Isan region, known as Khmer Surin. Plus, Khmer people used to rule a lot of the area, and the Thai court adopted much Khmer culture ... now apsara dance is considered part of Thai dancing too.  Thai people took apsara, Khmer took lam vong.
