  • thanks Elliot I have been lifting for almost three years now with scoliosis and the first thing my doctor told me to do was to strengthen my core and abdominal group. i incorporated planks and other core exercises. i used to have crazy back pain after lifting in the beginning but all that stopped after i sucked up my pride and started doing the core work. Great vid. God bless.

  • Just watched the video, as always, awesome.One of the few people who trains/advises people on how to fix the problem (weak abdominals/inflammation causing lower back pain which impedes upper back development). I wish I could spend some time learning from you-I train people the same way,ID'ing the source of the pain/problem/weakness anatomically/physiologically and strengthening that to improve performance.

  • secondly you mentioned something a few videos back that you were going to do some more comprehensive looks at people so you wouldn't have to rely on guess work. How could i get in on that, I find it very hard to get reliable information from anyone about training so it would be great to get some advice from someone i trust. Not sure if it matters but i live in Australia p.s. thanks for the Vince Gironda information really useful stuff.

  • Yo Elliot! First up thanks for the videos, missing the days when they popped up once a day but i realise you're a busy man. Anyway I have a question for you in regards to my training, i just came back from the gym and for some reason the amount of weight im able to do fluctuates an incredible amount between each week and it becomes extremely disheartening when i am seeing a steady increase in weight being used and then suddenly i have to go down 30lbs or more. I have no idea whats going on.

  • Hey Elliot, How do you feel about hamburgers if I buy grassfed natural ground beef? Is that really any different that steak? How about natural peanut butter where the only ingredients are peanuts and salt? Arent both of those foods technically processed but really no different than their original forms?

  • Judging from the video question, the guy looks weak, with little muscle development, this factors in having a solid structure that keeps your entire body functioning as a whole unit.

    in regards to lower back 'pain'? yeah, i don't think it's pain, it's simply a pump. i get those pumps when i dead-lift and db/bb row. this is normal, and the pump can vary in discomfort based on how hydrated your muscles are via water/glycogen.

    sharp pinching pain = bad, pump = normal

  • Elliot I recall you saying that you take heavy whip cream after workouts. That certainly isn't something people at 10,000 years ago. Protein supplements are also highly processed "foods". Could you elaborate more on this? Thanks.

    any "natural" protein source has lats of fat with it. Steak for example.
