I know El Toro is an awesome coaster. But, I mean El Toro reminds me too much of a steel coaster, not a wooden one. The clasics like, The Beast, Thunderhead, Voyage, Shivering Timbers, Boulder Dash, and alot more are the best. They might as well just classified El Toro as a steel coaster. I'm with the Voyage as #1.

I agree with thunderhead. Stuff like El Toro and The Voyage, and many of the others on here though, although they are great coasters, they aren't what makes wooden roller coasters so awesome. Wooden roller coasters should be all about making you duck because you think you're going to hit your head as the track winds around itself. Leave the giant drops for steel coasters, and bring back the old designs for the wooden ones. I vote Ghost Rider on this list.

Out of those, I've only been on Shivering Timbers...and it should be higher than #6. The airtime on that thing is epic...if only it was in a park with more notoriety than Michigan's Adventuress. Having said that, if you're making plans for western Michigan during the warmer months, I'd highly suggest spending a day at Michigan's Adventures and riding Shivering Timbers.

absolutely not. el toro should have been 2, here. ones that wernt even here were t-express (S. Korea) and Balder (Sweden) those 2 coasters and the voyage are the only ones of possibly beating el toro, nothing else can beat it. so el toro should be at the least 4, and the better ones werent even included.
