I was at the last half of the game. It was like a junior high team playing a college team. many tackles where gang tackles when Clemson could stop WVU. I'm an admitted WVU fan -- but I've never seen both a team and their fans give up on a game. even if Clemson wanted to gain steam their fans all walked out of the stadium by the end of the 3rd quarter. -- there was nobody cheering for anything clemson did from the half on. Clemson kept up with WVU the second half but couldn't get 42 back.

The Big East isn't as bad as what everyone thought and the ACC was a little over rated. We would of rather played VT because of the rivalry but Frank Beamer has to choke it away like always. I was at the last half of the game. It was like a junior high team playing a college team. many tackles where gang tackles when Clemson could stop WVU. I'm an admitted WVU fan -- but I've never seen both a team and their fans give up on a game. even if Clemson wanted to gain steam their fans all walked out of the stadium by the end of the 3rd quarter. -- there was nobody cheering for anything clemson did from the half on. Clemson kept up with WVU the second half but couldn't get 42 back.

@clemsonowns Watkins had 1 carry for 2 yards and 5 catches for 66 yards and 1 receiving TD. 27 of those 66 yards were from that TD reception. As much as everyone was hyping him up before the game I would have at least expected 100 total yards from him. I consider that shutting Sammy down. The refs weren't bad. I'm glad they let plays finish instead of blowing the whistle early. They would have been wrong so many times.

do you think the defensive problems have anything to do with a fast paced offense that also turns the ball over. that fast paced offense is tough on opposing defenses but it also is tough on your own defense. It does the same thing to both it wears both defenses down.

@BATTLE864 thats true..our offense stayed out on the field a lot longer last season and it helped our defense. Our offense is not out on the field long even when we score this year much less when we commit turnovers. But our defense still has to learn to deal with it better.

Man, I was really pulling for Clemson. And like you said the bandwagon fans are now going to jump to another team. True fans stick with your team through thick and thin. Appreaciate you addressing the loss. The truth is Clemson is on a positive path. The 2nd quarter was just ridiculous, and the reffing was horrible, I agree. (almost as bad as ACC refs.)
