@dcco76 The original plan was 8 shows but the concert promoters oversold the tickets, which led to the first gig being canceled by the fire department for violating the maximum occupancy of the venue. So, being the principled, fan-dedicated band they are, The Clash decided to extend it to 17 performances (including a couple matinees) and honor every ticket that was purchased. We just don't see great bands like this anymore nowadays...
