Well it is very nice and I am sure welcoming to see a 'cafe' in the middle of nowhere, but it must equate to any stop on our Motorways. The Route she is taking is more or less the M1?

You have to understand why they are so 'jumpy' though. There eye naturally comes to rest on the two females and their guards, and maybe this Caravan would have no problems if these women and the guards were not there? going the detour is safer but I wonder if it does not put others off from going that way > >

Is it me or for some reason the Camels are not allowed to be tethered? I would have thought even a long tether allowing the animals to walk normally may have prevented them from 'bolting'? But then, what do I know about camels? Actually quite a lot! Well, to be honest I know they have four legs, are a blond colour and have a hump, thats it!

I am not an Arab but I am a Muslim(a convert). Being Muslim has given me such a deep appreciation for Arab culture. :) I kind of wish I was an Arab but Allah subhana wa ta'ala has made mankind in many tribes and ethnic groups, it's his will and I accept who I am. Still, that does not mean I can't adopt elements of Arab culture. Lots of Muslims before me have done so.

Just saw this one, primarily to set off the dream of returning to Yemen and see what Saudi is like, and it is a beautiful documentary, but this Katie Humble, the presenter, what a disaster. So judgmental, orientalist...couldn´t they find somebody else who is curious? So sad. i just have to make a better documentary from here! this gave me energy!
