  • Really miss those floodlight pylons. Walking up to the gate as a kid on a cold tuesday night and seeing them lit up was mental.

  • I went to the Gate for the first time in the early 50's with my dad. I was about seven or eight at the time. I remember it was a reserve match & we won. I also remember there were over 3000 people there to watch it. Can you imagine that, just for a reserve game? Great days, although I think probably a new stadium is a must. If Ashton Vale is finally turned down, if I was Lansdown, I let the travellers camp on it instead. That would sort out the antis who live there. Town green my arse.

  • Home sweet home

  • I absolutley love the pic at 2.14... this was exactly my first view of ashton gate when i was about 9... i remember we beat Brighton 5-2 (i think) and from that day i was in love with this club!

  • Fantastic! Really misses the old enclosure when it was seated. Sunny days in the open end also a great memory.
