  • I have owned a few cudas a chevelle or too and there a fun car to own and i will build another someday ..But i am saying this with all the honest inside me .. ive built a small block factory five with a eddie flora 302 and its the big rush and everything they say they are .. so if theres any non cobra lovers lol you have no dam idea what your missing ..

  • hey dude what transmission and rear end ratio you using... cheers

  • @TheBaz427 I'm running a Tremec TKO 600 with a road racing 5th gear and a 3:45 rear diff.

  • A new Porsche, with supposedly the best, newest technology available, can't outrun a 40 year old Cobra...

  • Were you taking it easy on that Porsche?? I believe you could've easily reeled him in and trounced him.

  • @lmorrow4 I was wathcing his lines...I had much more motor than he did as you can see when I catch up to the Porsche

  • this is the 427 model right? is it the s/c or the street model?? or is it the competition model?? either way, very nice car... :)

  • @supra1722 Yes, the 427 SC with the side pipes.

  • @DMoscoso2008 nice you're a very lucky man even if it's a replica... nice car :)

  • from which label are his gloves? 0_0

  • Gran turismo! XD

  • WTF......is it me or is the speedometer going backwards?

  • @NateN34 The original 427 cobras had reverse speedometers.

  • @seventhson2024 You are exactly correct. Thats what gives away most kit cars that people think is real.

  • @surrynet THE COBRA FROM THE 60 S LOOKS LIKE NOTHING FROM THE MARKET OF TODAY .. IF YOU KINDA OF THINK ABOUT IT CAROLS COBRAS FROM THE EARLY DAYS OF RACING WAS IN A SENSE A WELL NO NOT A KIT BUT A CUSTOM PRODUCTION CAR ... A CAR FROM OUTSIDE THE USA AND AMERICAN HORSEPOWER IT WAS A GARAGE MADE CAR FROM A MAN WITH A DREAM AND SOME GOOD FRIENDS ... THERES OH FOUR OR FIVE COMPANYS MAKING SOME DAM GOOD COBRAS THESE DAYS

  • @jusridenhi ????, All we said was a TRUE Shelby Cobra had a speedodometer that went from right to left. In A kit car (replica, fake, generic, not the real thing,) car the speedometer goes in the normal direction. Didn't say anything about the looks. Most Replicas LOOKED EXACTLY like the ones in the sixties.but replicas were fiberglass which the reals ones weren't.,

  • @surrynet no no i know ..

  • @jusridenhi You are correct !!

  • no chance mr.nice guy....:-)

  • Cobra was designed in the 60's and still kicking ass today!!!

  • My dream car.Thank for sharing. Great driving. Loved to see the face of the other diver's being undertake by a 1960 s design car.

For a long time iam thinking in buing one of these. But iam concer about safety. I dont think these cars do verry well in a crash situation in a city, specialy lateral crash. Iam not woried about ny driving, i just whant to have a litle fun and dont like to race in the streets. Iam cocenrned about other divers.

  • SInce that video I increased the PSI on the adjustable oil pump, you can see the difference in the PBIR video. In this videeo the car hsa the standard brakes but I have since upgraded the brakes with a Olthoff big brake kit.

  • wow, oil pressure really dropping in the turns, time for an Accusump eh?

Nice lines, good to see you climbing him going into the turns, Porsche brakes?, ha!

Are your brakes the standard SPF offering or upgraded?

  • @SteveHandlebar I looked into Accusump and I heard very bad things from some racers...like the valves getting stuck and starving the motor...very bad...so I ended up solving this by increasing the amount of oil a bit over the full mark and increased the oil pressure on the adjustable pump

  • @SteveHandlebar In the video the car had the standard 4 piston Wilwood's

  • I'm thinking you should've been able to overtake that thing at any moment. You were very ginger with the shifting and throttle application. Perhaps thats what you meant to do, I'm not sure.

  • its nice to see sc's on the track. Kudos on your driving skills, nicely done. So many people forget the most important thing about these cars is how you drive it.

  • loved the scene at the end where you were stuck behind traffic, hit the loop and punched it! Can't wait to own one someday!

  • The best bit of driveing I have ever done in my Cobra was with a 911, we were chaseing each other for 3 1/2 hours to the south of france, and we could not loose each other, what a ride, I only lost him becoause he went right at a round about and I went straight on!

  • As soon as we have world economic recovery, I'll be able to afford making more of these. I want to film at Sebring, Daytona and PBIR, my other local tracks...stand by for a few months...thanks for the nice comments - they're a real motivator.

  • lol u lucky bastrd u!... i mean that in the most nicest way! lol sweet vid keep more comming please:)

  • Cayman? Piece of boxter junk. There is only one Porsche on a track - 911.
