Beginning September 12th, 2011, I will be proving food for the hungry street people in Tabaco City in the Philippines. If U can help me, contact feedthepoor2@aol.com
First visited PH in 1989. 21 years on and it's still the same. Even more hunger because of population increase. Water shortages, brown-outs, still people disappearing (Death squads) fighting over land rights etc..
Now with the rainy season, many young kids are dying from dengue fever again: Their parents cannot afford the necessary mahal medicine! Perhaps the guv realizes the overpopulation problem and is deliberately ignoring the problems, part of their secret depopulation program? Ingat ka!
Where there is poverty, you will find the church, an institution that thrives on money & power, lays down it's own rules & even laws on sexual behavior! The church together with the government continues the corruption at the cost of the majority of the citizens, and without shame. Had the Spanish left the country alone, the people would have been better off, the scars are deep & still show...
Having been to San Mateo last year and Antipolo last March, I've seen & met plenty of people living below the poverty line, as well as Ilo ilo, and Manila. The main headlines today in Holland were again to do with whether or not the Catholic church will compensate the victims of their pedo-priests. Every slum area I visited was also visited by the church demanding contributions.
when a person is happy with his/her life he/she wouldn't think of doing a crime. why steal money when one has a job that pays accordingly? if we tend to our poor i cant say we eliminate poverty but reduce it hence reducing crime hence reducing so much expenditures on in-mates. its like killing tree birds with one stone....
as i watched this video i started asking my self " is our government fighting for the right thing? are our politicians thinking correctly? is our system working correctly?"
do a crime and you get a shelter, clothing and get fed three times a day. shouldn't criminals be dealt th same fate as what they did? instead of spending so much on low lives scum criminal, why not spend some to our poor? give them shelter, clothing, food and for crying out loud give them a job... continued-->
..there is no hope for Philippines..it is a doomed small country, occupied by tyrants and people with no respect and discipline.. i feel sorry for you-the land of my birth..
Most important is birth control in Philippines. People need to learn that coitus interruptus is useless. The church need to allow to use condom. The church is becoming the biggest problem in the world.

@turbolover777 you`re right but he`s kind of right too, having more kids than you can`t support is a mistake, they should use birth control
