I was so pleased to be there and be a part of this event. It was wonderful and brought tears to my eyes. Happy Birthday Disneyland. You are truly dear to my heart after all these years.

Wow. Brainwashing propaganda followed by very bad dancing. It looked like a very bad parade audition. Since they cleared the streets beforehand, it's obvious that some kind of show or precession was about to take place, therefore not making it a "surprise" flash mob at all

Instead of doing a grand anniversary celebration like DL's 50th, or even tying the "Celebrate Today" or "Summer Nightastic" promotions with the 55th anniversary, this is the cheap tacky resolution they come up with instead?

@ofelixdacat it may not have been a great celebration like the 50th was, but c'mon...it's the 55th. Is that really such a momentous number as 50? I'm surprised they planned anything at all, considering they didn't have that much for the 40th or 45th. And the area was roped off because people started packing main street after hearing rumors about it. You may think it looked cheap, but I can tell you to everyone that was down there, it must've been amazing. Especially to those CMs dancing.

@small5th For the 40th they did "40 years of Adventure" with the opening of Indiana Jones Adventure. For the 45th, they did "45 years of Magic" with a new parade. The 50th had the "Happiest Homecomings on Earth" with a bunch of new things. Then after the 50th, they came up with all these stupid promotions such as "Where dreams come true", & "Celebrate Today" which could have been used for the 55th, however they only did this "Flash Mob" instead. Very pathetic.

@TheAndrewBlue1 You are completely nuts, Disneyland was 10x better 20 years ago. No more Skyway, Fantasyland Autopia gone, Rocket Jets moved to ground level, America the Beautiful gone, Carousel of Progress and or America Sings gone, Mission to Mars gone, People Mover gone, Subs was closed for years.... Disneyland has yet to recover from the Cynthia Harris Paul Pressler debacle.
