i own this katana, good sword after cutting alot with it the edge did dull veeerry slightly in places, but it is worth the money imo. it cuts through the caps and mouths of bottles like nothing. i cut a dog killed possum's head off like it was butter. like literally butter. i cut a pumpkin and the blade bent a bit but it bent back nicely

In most countries it's illegal to see any type of sword to under 18s. So the only way would be to get a perant to buy a sword for you and that's if they are generous enough to get you one much less a decent one.

I own this steel, and it is a fast production of a 1060 mono-steel Maru-Kitae method. It's light and fast, but only cut LIGHT targets as the blade is this and the weight is low. Geometrically it is meant for light cutting and is great for Iaito. Good fittings and tight wrap with dual tang and real hamon = you get a little more than you pay for. I like mine, but for real cutting, such as Oak dowels in mats, something more substantial is more enjoyable. That is my 2 sense.
would you personally recommend Musashi swords over other manufactures? I've been looking for a sword within the price range of 300 to 400 dollars and the Musashi Kobuse Fold series looks rather striking.
I agree with shinobitech13, for that price... Hanwei is a great company. Their practical plus xl is amazing for the price. But if you are looking for a serious cutter for that price, I would suggest getting one of their Raptors. AMAZING!!! Put's the musashi sword to shame.

The Musashi Bamboo is the best sword you will find for $80, and also it is both beautiful and an excellent cutter!

I agree with shinobitech13, for that price... Hanwei is a great company. Their practical plus xl is amazing for the price. But if you are looking for a serious cutter for that price, I would suggest getting one of their Raptors. AMAZING!!! Put's the musashi sword to shame.
