@bjgrocks Actually he is a prodigy because he's self-taught as well. I mean sure kids like Tony Royster were amazing at young ages, but also had some very good teachers to guide them. Not that they weren't still prodigies themselves because they were. it is prodigy when all you have is yourself. I know because I taught myself to play to bands like Rush, Zeppelin, Journey, etc when I was a kid and was pretty damn good. This kid is better than I was at 9 because I started at 11, LoL.

YouTube has helped show us that the world is full of great, young musicians. It looks like he is having a great time. He is fortunate to have a situation that gives him the latitude to rock AND a killer kit. Whether it's a prodigy or a 74 year old with eight Grammys, all serious musicians practice to be the best. Hopefully, he loves drumming enough to continue and become one of the best ever. Great stuph!
