  • She even holds the Guinness Book of baseball records for the longest throw(296ft.)by a woman.

  • A biography was just published, "Wonder Girl" by Don Van Natta Jr. It's pretty good, lots of detail about her accomplishments and personal life, and public's opinion regarding women athletes in the early days. Olympic Committee did their best to keep women out of the Olympics for a long time, and only let them in very few events even in 1932, when Babe competed.

  • Instead of having a full primetime documentary film the kiked- media machine gives this little 42 second snip. And, naturally, not even that can be correct -Babe won the 80 m hurdle olympic race, not the 800 metres (roll eyes)...one of the greatest, nontheless.

  • She could do anything. Clearly one of America's greatest sports legends.

  • Sad that I never heard of her until now and I'm 35 and like to think I'm fairly informed on things.

  • Where can I see more of this documentary?

  • I mention Didrickson in The History Song

  • She wasn't one of the best woman athletes of the 20th century, Nor was she the best "woman" athlete. She is the greatest athlete of the 20th century...period! So say I.

  • Voted Outstanding Athlete Of The Century in 1950. She Died in 1956 from Cancer at the age of 45. For Me She Is The Greatest Woman Athlete Ever !!

  • Wow...incredible. She's definitely one of out greatest athletes ever...period.
