(properly is) it makes the shot look crappy and tacky.... also whats with the pop shield, not needed for this sort of work (coming from a music tech student) finally if your gonna use greensceen, spend more time sorting it out, looks a tiny bit tacky.. final cut any chance...?
other than all that would be good, but dont make it obv ur reading it off another screen :P
No, I know for a fact that it isn't the mic he uses for recording. He uses it for podcast recording and Skype. You have to know his old (then current) layout to understand that the desk is probably the best place he can set up. He as since rearranged a bit. And yes, he uses Final Cut Studio.
you dont need a pop sheid and condenser mic, for tv recording. it's uneeded. you should move the mic out of shot and it would look much better.
