(A) yes Mariah has 18 # 1 hits, but out of those hit how many did she recieve a grammy for....but on the other hand whitney has recieved a grammy for ALL of her # 1 hit's..(B) not only do she have grammy's let go a little futher and put 3 number one box hit, Preacher's wife, Bodyguard, and Waiting to Exhale and I don't think Giltter even made it to the big screen and (C) They are two different women with great careers no need to compare apples to a fruit basket.

I find it very funny you say "no need to compare", when that's exactly what you are doing. Alison Krauss has 26 Grammy Awards. Is she better than Whitney? FYI: Grammys are picked by a group of people who's taste varies. Glitter did make it to the big screen, and maybe it wasn't as successful as Whitney's. But she did score a #2 song on the hot 100 and it was song of the year. Let's not forget that Mariah has achieved much more than Whitney.
