i learned that clear skys make normal people, draugers and such stummble backwards. just like sheild bash and a big plus the first word takes 5 seconds to reload. realy helpful when you need to slow someone down. and if you do it to guards in a town they stumble and they dont put bounty on you. doesnt work on animals

@mirandasboi22 You learn words from the various walls scattered around the world, and from the Greybeards, but learning them doesn't let you use them. To use them you need to slay a dragon. Once that's done just go in to your Magic menu and then select Shouts. Scroll to the one you want to use and there's a button that lets you unlock it by using a dragon soul (X on 360), just press that and there you go! Equip it and cause some carnage.

@levimustdie11 It's not the kind of game you can really "finish", but you can use magic as much as you want. Some quests might require you to use a certain spell or dragon shout, but one of the best things about the game is that you can do, or not do, anything.
