american teeth really arent that great either, unless you have thousands of dollars to put in your mouth or a dental plan through work. people like me, who dont have a dental plan, have to use medicaid (im actually lucky enough to qualify) to get extractions (ex. are all that it covers. and full sets of dentures) or a care credit card they'll never be able to pay off. i had cheap dental work done and they didnt do them right, they look and feel terrible, its really not that uncommon for us inUSA
