but the sedan wont quite cut it as a halo car. The Veloster also coindientaly be a 2012 model, just ike the next Gen Accent Hatch will start as a 2012 model.

Next gen Accent sedan=2011 model, will be at dealers by October.

Many of those same articles calling Veloster next gen Tib called Gen Coupe when it was in spy shots,Next gen Tib too. They got it wrong.

There will be an Elantra Coupe too. Next Gen Elantra sedan will be shown soon at an auto show a year earlier than normal.

Also, Hyundai CEO said that this car would have a MINI clubman-like side door configuration on the rear passenger side, and maybe on boh rear sides. The Spy shots dont show a glass roof, but they do show the back end covered up and if you study the shots well, you can tell they might be rear side doors.

No small car right now has 2 small rear side doors on both sides. I guess they wanted to give the car a 3 door look with 5 door hatch utility. Like the old Saturn Coupes.

This will be an Accent hatch by the way. They are replacing Both Tiburon and Accent hatch with this car. Hyundai wanted a small car that could out do MINI. The 2011 Accent Sedan will get the Same engines as well. 

1. 145 HP 1.6=45 MPG.

2. 176 HP 1.6T=41 MPG.

3. 2.0L=Unspecified Mileage and Power (top Secret).

4. 140 HP Hybrid-50-54 MPG.

Remember, Hyundai is the Budget Luxury Company now. The Obtainable Luxury that makes sense.

Dont you see, dude. The plan is to fool people. This isnt going to be powerful enouh to replace Tiburon. Most articles have the wrong facts anyway. Like I said its getting the sam powertrains as Next Gen Accent Sedan, its the same size as Accent Hatchback as well. The Next Gen Accent perio wll be more sportier with GDI and Turbos.  Its getting 30 more HP than before and thats just on the base powertrain.

Just say Im a Hyundai Superfan who has friends on the inside I know.

Think about this for a second. Why would Hyundai/KIa a company that's held-bent on ending the practice of cannibalizaton have 2 separate models in just one brand-Hyundai, Veoster and Accent Hatch? Why would the give 2 cars the same size the same powertrains, etc....? Everything Accent Sedan gets the hatch usually gets, and more, becuase the hatch is the Accent Centerpiece in America. Hyundai CEO said Accent will be a halo car, the sedan is a great fresh start. cont....
