I'm a Humane Law Officer for my local SPCA and I have to thank everyone who adopts from a shelter and those who care and love and speak up for animals, it breaks my heart with some of the things I see doing this job, seeing them go home with someone who will love them though....that makes it seem a little easier, and every time 1 is adopted that makes 1 more space for me to rescue one that's lost or abandoned or abused.
What a sad and gorgeous video, thank you for sharing it adopting a dog is a wonderful thing....I hope people can come to my page also to see some more rescue dogs in need. Can everyone please share this video and always remember to treat animals right. Don't by an animal if you can't afford to take good care of him and if there is a chance of taking a pet from the shelter instead of buying, please do so. This is heartbreaking
This makes me so sick. It's horrid :/ I made a video about it too, I think we really need to get the message out, so please people keep on sharing videos like these and have a look at mine and tell me if you think it's any good, thanks ):
don't buy a dog if you going to hurt it and send it to a place where it was in the frist place it breaks my heart to see you sick no heart people hitting dogs
one more thing... write or e mail any pet shops in your area that sell puppies. tell them u wont shop there any longer and include how much u spend per month on pets...incl. food, treats, toys, bedding,collars, etc... the only way to get them to stop is to let them see a loss of money.
everyone posting here... there are so many that its too late for, but there are so many waiting that its not too late for. if you cant adopt, go volunteer for Gods sake. Take a dog for a walk. If nothing else you let that dog be a dog for half an hour. dont talk.... DO IT!!!
Everyone adopts the puppies it's the old unwanted dogs that I will rescue u know they only have so long left just make the best of it for them don't make them die because they aren't wanted!
You can help out at your local animal shelter by volunteering to walk the dogs or just spend some time with them. Hopefully I'll do that in the holidays!!

I hope to adopt a shelter dog when my dad will allow it...he promised me one a couple of years back but then he changed his mind.. :(
Both my kitties are shelter kitties. I adopted three from the shelter but one died several years ago. Shelters have great pets needing loving homes. It's hard to leave without a pet. Only adopt if you plan on loving unconditionally and are able to support an animal.
my dog emmy i got her when she was like a week old and she is the runt my mom heard sceamming she ran in and the guy was abusing my dog so we kept emmy my dog now and we found good homes 4 the other pups
im gonna be volunteering at an animal shelter when school stars i think. i cant stand to see abused animals so thats why i wanna volunteer. adopt dont shop! stop puppy mils
the puppys made me cry:(

I took a cat from the shelter. When I come to the shelter in my city and see the animals there, it breaks my heart :'( I would take all of them!
But I can't afford it now, no money.. ((

they lock them up and they didn't not even commit a crime. i try and save as many animals as i can. but not enough money. not a cages can be bad
