the majority of the beaches are made up of used up sea shells, not sand, it's odd. and yes, telemarketers do need to die, nice vid, love the salton sea, been there many, many times. always fun to explore.
Its possible that if it, "smells like a sewer" it may be full of sh*t:)or excrement.

The Sea can be salvaged believe it or not. I am glad you still called it beautiful. I did the tour you did recently. The car shade at the hotel, where you had parked your car, was on the ground. North half of building was also torn apart. I love the area and want to help heal the pit. Petitions are out there. '2018 is projected as the year the Salton Sea drastically dips and disintegrates before our unconcerned eyes and lungs. Unless action is taken.

Long been a fan of the Salton Sea specifically for its surreal, dystopian qualities. Thanks for the tour. :)
