My cousin is seeing an eating disorders specialist, but still continuing the same behaviors. I know it's not an easy or fast road. I really hope she starts wanting to change soon. Anorexia = control. Bulemia = anger. It's like any other addiction - running from feelings we don't know how to deal with. Tried for years to "stop" but it wasn't until i did some serious therapy and REALLY wanted to CHANGE that I was able to stop. For me, it was about very specific message I recevied that were running my life, and getting the right ones I needed, along with some practical skills, that finally kicked it in the butt. My thoughts and prayers to her!

She's dangerously thin and the help she's getting now doesn't seem to be making a difference. I guess it might be a transfer adddiction. She mentions control a lot when we talk about it, so it's probably a combination of things. It scares me that she isn't even worried about dying.

She's gotten a new dr and is trying to get help. I'm so excited for Vegas. I'm staying at the Imperial Palace (not sure where that is in relation to the Luxor). Yay now I'll know two more people who are going to be there !
