Although Demon Hunter is a Christian band, I don't really think they meant this song to be about God, lyric-wise it doesn't seem to fit. To me, it sounds like a friend talking to another friend, referring to his final day on this earth. Just my 2cents, a powerful song nonetheless!

@DieUponMe he must have been a great person if he loved this song he must have been a disciple in service of Him who died with him in his heart and is now with Him in His kingdom. May god bless his family and friends who were close to him and loved him so let his soul and spirit belong to the Lord who only knows why he it was his time to go. Tell his family for me that i will pray for them so that they may may have the strength to keep going and even better feel the Holy Spirit and be more happy

All the people who think this band is not a christian band must have been dropped because even if you dont think they are they are. I am a die hard Demon Hunter fan and i hate it when people say false things about this band its really offensive. ANd just because i bet very few of you knew this this is the song deticated to when he dies and this is the message he wants to send to his family when he dies. Sorry if this seems like i am like exploding but i just really hate false accusing :)

Satin did not want to liberate, he wanted to overthrow God's throne. The only reason why he was even able to try is because God decided to give all his angels a moment of free will. Once the angels decided whether or not to follow Lucifer, God shunned him and those that followed him from the high reaches of heaven.
So if God was truly jealous, then explain to me why he would've even allowed Luci to try and take the throne?

God will burn those who speak against him, don’t believe me, read the Bible. God burns people for tarnishing his name just like a child. Why would god, if he’s all powerful and wise, why would he have a human quality such as jealousy? The real savour is Satin, god sent him to hell because he wanted to liberate. Anyone else who denies god will be sent to hell. This is a terrible fate, don’t forget, god made hell. Satin wants to liberate and make perfection. So praise satin the true savour.

Then Jesus showed that sin could be conquered by fighting with the devil, winning, and coming back to earth to prove to the non-believers who he was. Satan tries to convince us to sin, to take us off of the path god wants us to follow, because of HIS jealousy and hatred towards God. You, sir, are sadly uneducated.

Although Demon Hunter is a Christian band, I don't really think they meant this song to be about God, lyric-wise it doesn't seem to fit. To me, it sounds like a friend talking to another friend, referring to his final day on this earth. Just my 2cents, a powerful song nonetheless!

@homegrove123 your on the ball but Ryan explained that this song is about him explaining to his friends not mourn his death but to be strong through and know that he is in a better place. what i love about Christian artists is a lot of their music can be taken in different ways so everyone can have their own belief on the song.
