ya it takes an extreme heat to crack that type of glass...i mean have you seen what they blow glass with...it isnt a little heat box its a high temp flame lol. cheap shalala glass "arab" crap would most definatly break but not what hes holding.

As much as I appreciate your comment (minus the Arab comment) it is not entirely accurate. All glass that is shaped goes under extreme heat to shape it. Rapid temperature change causes glass to expand and contract; if a great change happens over a short period of time the glass won't be able to withstand the change and will crack or shatter from stress.

Pyrex, however, has a much greater range of temperature change before it will break. And that change is no where near vaping temp and freezing

Your right and i would know because i worked with traditional soda glass for two years and dealed with cracking non stop but then i switched to borosilicate/pyrex and i could just put the glass rod or tube strait into the flame of my torch and i still havent had a crack to this day. I love pyrex haha

Pyrex is a more more resilient tempered glass than normal glass. Don't knock it till you try it; ; it won't break.

The reason it feels different is because your not inhaling carsinogens which are bad for the body which causes anti bodies and your immune system to attack so when you smoke you feel that happening when you vaporize you do not .

yeah man, "fumes" as in cannabinoids ( THC and other chemicals that get you high) will come off of the plant, but the smoke that contains cancer-causing substances and tar are not released, because the temperature at which they are released is higher than the vaporizer will go. Peace

When you exhale ya and if you dont clear your bowl yes there will be but if you take all the vapor in one hit and use a smoke sift there will be little to no smell .

I Love the vapor brothers, so many things you can do with them. I got tired of dropping herbs into my unit so instead of lowering my whip to the vape, I hold the whip upright, hold the box upside down over the filled whip with as if it were the "lighter". To carb, separate and inhale. (The carb is why I like the traditonal over the hands free, and you can use pyrex to freeze like here!)

Wouldn't this eventually break the whip b/c it is going for cold to hot instantly? and it is glass. the ends at least thinking about buying one soon though.

The glass is made from Pyrex. The whips are made to take rapid changes in temperature. When I first tried this I thought the same thing, but it turns out that going from freezing to vaping isn't even going to the full extremes that the whips can handle.
