@theclassic93 SC was the top of the line. Supercharged 3.8L V6, anywhere from 210-240 horse, and in excess of 300lbs of torque. The LX with the 5.0 was the next step down. Then you had the N/A 3.8L V6. Not much torque, and even less HP.

SC's are wonderful cars but dont buy one unless you can fix it every now and again. My sc's cam sensor went out which led to the end of my car... I still have it and i will rebuild it because it is such a lovely car. First of all the supercharger makes the most wonderful sound. Second if you are 6ft or taller it is still very roomy. 3rd the torque period. 4th they look 50times better than a regular T-bird inside and out. This is a car i will NEVER sell.

i'm wit ya man, i had a few sc's in my day the first one was a mint 93 5 speed wit 66,000 miles on it and i could hit 3rd gear in that car sometimes. sucks some old lady hit me and totaled my bird. the next 2 i blew the head gaskets on cus the auto dounshifted into first at 60 and blew way to much boost. now i got a lincoln mark viii(check out my videos) but still miss the sound of that SC, the feel of the roda when ya hit the sport ride switch, and the power that 3.8 supercharged v6 had.

@Curufin42 i love the super coupe but if your going for pure performance pull the 3.8s supercharger off and mount it to the 5.0 ho with the edelbrock conversion kit and you wi.ll be laying just under 375 horse for less than 2000 bucks i love the super coupe i will admit ive owned 2 1990 supers and a 91 5.0 loved both but as soon as power adders came into place my super destroyed my 5.0 untill i droped 8.5 gs under the hood and i was just shy of 650 horse and 675 fpt then i added 2 150 shots

@1016joecool for the addition 200 horse at the quarter and it would run 9.28 with one of my 150's but if i ran both witch is a combined 300 shot of wet nirous not a dry shot i could do i in 851my supers stock were doing it in 14 then i added smaller pulleys forged pistons bigger injectors a cold air intake and they were running 10s both amazing cars i do prefer the super coupe for its interior and body kit tho the leather is un beatable the body kit is to good theres a diff in body kits theres a
