  • My lolo was one of the soldiers who survived the DEATH MARCH. He volunteered as a cook to escape from Japs tortures. At night when the japs are asleep, he will give food to those who are inside the prison.they would carry their co-soldiers to save them from Japaneses bayoneta. These are the untold stories that werent told in the books. My lolo is now 93 years old. His name was placed at Bataan. JUAN L. MONREAL- HERO Death March

  • matigas talaga ulo ng mga pilipino.ayaw sumuko.kaya china dapat magisip before invading us..di sumusuko mga pinoy.

  • @yuannamendoza hahahaha the chinese outnumbers us 10:1. and our equipment will shrink in shame kapag napatapat sa kanila, but of course we are tenacious and brave, but are they not, stand down people, let the government do their jobs, though in times of war, tayo ang unang mamamtay,

"that´s what young people are for" - Hitler

  • @lightning5224 soory l do not understand your language , thank you for your reply !

  • That was history people.. WWII Japanese Military was CRAZY. Their culture at the time, was one of not showing accords to POWs... It was honor to commit HARI instead of surrender. Of course they didn't treat prisoners right. Research Unit 731 and you'll see they did stuff that would make Nazi's look like Candyland. As someone mentioned WWII is long ago but never forget history; learn from it, never repeat. Peace, love, love your world and fellow man. forrreaal .

  • @exitingforward Yes I agree, but some stupid bastards say that "past is past".

But still ,IT SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED.

  • late dominador p santos great guerillas

  • FUCK JAPS. I fucking hate those subhumans.

  • My father from Batangas fought this war with the 45th Infantry (PS) and made the death march too. Never talked much about it and the US Army gave him a Company of PS, Company "L " 45th Infantry after the war. He was a SSG during that battle.

  • Too bad The Philippines only had self-serving generals. From the time of Aguinaldo all the way to the present

  • My grandfather was a guerilla during ww2.

    He survived the death march.

    R.I.P.

  • blame our government for not naming some of our Filipino heroes who did a lil thing but with a great significance for our country.

  • Remember that quote that "General MacArthur" said?

"Give me 10,000 Filipino fighters and i will conquer the WORLD!"

  • Another renowed filipino hero lost in the history of time...

  • hmm.... First time ko lng narinig name ni Narciso Ortilano,..... Bkt? never ko pa sya na encounter sa Philippine/Asian/World/American History subjects? .... hmmm'

  • "Give me a dozen Filipinos, and I shall conquer the world." - General Douglas Mac Arthur

  • i shall return no more

  • coward general. if only he allowed his 70000men to fight till death, i;m sure japanese doesnt stand a chance.

  • these filipinos should be given honour. why not make a film of the Philippine scouts? Filipinos need this for them to become patriots again for their country. too much selfish corruption is too much.

  • ABCD encirclement already cut off supplies to the Japanese, but the United States had the abundant supplies.

  • narciso ortilano is one of the greatest filipino hero...

he is one of the foundation of this country..

hope that all filipinos will going to do what he have been just to

    protect our country!

  • Ortilano!

  • THE JAPANESE AND AMERICANS ARE THE MOST SELFISH PEOPLE IN THE WORLD THEY ONLY THINK OF THEMSELVES

  • I salute you Ortilano!

  • I Shall Return.

  • I'm naming my next kid Narciso!

  • ahahahaha wow japanese emipre dont stand a chance from the philippine scouts on the 11:30pm attack (thats SHAMEFUL for the japanese.. its like the army loosing from a bunch of boy scouts! XD)

  • @OfnirNine

If you also heard the exploits of Filipino soldiers during the Korean War, then you know that Filipino soldiers can fight almost any threat

  • @OfnirNine they are not boy scouts. they are elites son of a bitch sharpshooters

  • though The fall of Bataan and Corregidor sounds victorious for the Jap's, their time table was delayed/changed because of this that took them to their defeat after.

  • i hope there cod world at war battle for asia it include philippines

  • im proud to be a filipino..i wonder if they could create a COD game w/ the story of the warriors of the Philippine warriors here such as Sir Ortilano and Sir Turner here. It would be great, well that's for my opinion coz' i like COD series and the battle for my own country.

  • @vengeance555ful hellz yea!!

  • This video just made me so proud to be Filipino.

  • The really Filipino proves that they are really worth dying for

  • If only the Roosevelt Admin did not reroute the supply, Japanese never won Bataan War.

  • nananayo mga balahibo ko...

  • i guess the filipinos the bataan defenders are the real samurai's :)

  • i think thats brutal!!!!!!!!!! GO TO HELL ALL JAPANESE

  • @sniffszero Not all of em are bad you know.

  • this was really interested..:)

  • nice video

    i very like the history

thank you for posting this video!

  • you should notice that the hero Ortalano killed a platoon of japanese soldiers. is that what you called weak?

  • @DarkswordSerathus i agree with you bro...filipinos are the pain on the neck versus platoon of murderers...

  • wow, those japanese soldiers really must have not been taught how to fight. i really don't see how hard it is for the guys in front of the charge to at least fire their weapons. no wonder they lost so many of their own.

anyways, props to Ortilano, a great soldier.

  • nakakalungkot naawa ako sa pow, buti na lang nagtulungan sila...nakakaantig ng damdamin pagka napapanuod ko ito..

  • in my opinion.Distinguished Service Cross?

Ortolano should have been awarded the medal of honor.

  • yeah i believe your right man

  • I agree dude was a badass

made Rambo look like a bitch

  • u are deffinitly right

  • @medmapguy yup many Nisei that served in the US Army were dealt with that fate, many of them not getting their rightful reward until fairly recently, because they were Asians. Sad..

  • @medmapguy thats what I was thinking ,, he basically did about the same thing John Basilone did on Guadalcanal.

  • @medmapguy the Americans wouldn't let a philipino get the medal of honor before an American did in ww2

  • @medmapguy ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!!!!!

  • @medmapguy "Without question!"

  • RP-US soldiers brothers in arms...

  • naiiyak ako!

  • I ♥ my country!

  • Narciso Ortilano great warrior idol!

  • only 500 POW survived.....POW=prisoners of war

  • So, that will be right for RONALDALLAN5's article. But Imperial Japanese Army was usually strict fot reincorcements. For example the food supply was indigenous availability rule, not supply from back yard.

  • I don't Believe the Japanese are really good soldiers, they were only well equipped. the reason we lost bataan was due to lack of supply of food and arms because reinforcements were cut, the brave american and filipino soldiers can only hold on for as long as they can. but without food and ammo it's impossible. but in terms of skill, and military tactics, particularly involving infantry tactics, american and filipino were far better than japanese.

  • yes the japanese destroyed more supplied because they destroyed many supplies

  • yeah, your right

  • i wish that was my grandpa hah

  • Whilst I watch this, I see brave men fighting other brave men. Both fighting for what they believe in, both giving it their all. They obediently do what they're told by others. Are we really so different in the long run?

I thank American and Filipino soldiers. But I mourn the deaths of all the soldiers, Japanese or otherwise.

  • ung tatang ko ng0 nmtay,ngdedeliry0 cia tp0s knkwent0 nia ung death march,

  • filipino's are realy brave.. and thanks to there sacrifices lives.. were free.. and to american soldier as well.. with out them maybe filipinos never won..

    we SALUTE TO OUR ANCESTORS...

and thank you for this wonderfull life...

  • If it wasn't for American brave Men and the Pilipino Guerilla who sacrifice their lives, My Country Philippines will be speaking nippon under the japs right now.

  • MacArthur is one the heroes of the philippines and will always be..

  • there is something similar to my forefathers diary, he refuses to surrender and continue fighting as a Guerrilia. He even wrote there that he work as a kitchen helper for the japanese airfield and stole some foods and milk for his companions especially GIs they cannot eat camote and bagoong.

  • cry for the heroes of bataan death march, and my great thanks for them!!

  • General Humper? lol figures

  • 70000? y they don't fight?

  • becoz they are surrounded by armed japanese

  • I salute all the Filipino and American soldiers!!!

And people dont forget " The Hukbalahap ", mas kinatakutan sila ng mga Hapones kumpara sa mga sundalong kano, dahil mas matapang, at aggresibo sila sa pagsugpo ng mga mananakop na mga Hapones, Lumaban din sila para sa ating kalayaan.

    R.I.P Lolo Sgt. Bonifacio Yabut

  • I am Filipino/Japanese and I will never forget the Heroic efforts of the Filipinos during WWII neither will I also forget the 442nd Infantry & the 100th Battalion of the US Army. The 442nd & the 100th Batallion are Japanese/Americans who fought he NAZI to defend America even though they were forgotten heroes. They are the most decorated unit in the US Military History. Mabuhay ang Filipinas!!!

  • there were Japanese fighting along side with the Allies? that's awesome.
