His last name sound like one..Kleopatra was Makedonian, a Ptolemea..In ancient times Makedonians, Achaians, Pelasgians, Ioneans, Danaes, Doriens were all the same race that much later called Greeks. Dont say Makedonians and Greeks cause is so wrong..Makedonia (ΜΑΚΕΝΔΟΣ) is a greek word which means 'tall man' and Alexader (ΑΛΕΞΩ ΑΝΗΡ) means the one who protect others..I am macedonian i am greek..Hearing those things, my heart is deeply broken. Cleopatra VII wasn't "ethnically" Egyptian. She came from a long line of rulers, the Ptolemys, who were originally from Macedonia(in Greece). For around 300 years even before her rule every Pharaoh was of Greek origin(starting with Alexander the Great).

I think he meant "Goddess" to mean "a strong, sexy woman" and obviously the "Greek" part DOES make sense. She probably would have worn Greek clothing, not Egyptian. Sorry, I'm a history buff, especially when it comes to anything Egyptian. :3

Alexander the Great conquered Aegyptwith an army mix of maccedons and greeks. After his death Ptolemaeos (who was either greek or maccedonian, I don't remember) became king of Aegypt and his descendants ruled Aegypt up to the point when the romans conquered Aegypt. Aegypt culture therefore was a mix of greek and aegyptian elements, but the ruling family was definitely greek-maccedonian. And the goddess part makes also very much sense if you think that the aegyptian pharaos as well as

So for the egyptians she actually was a goddess and she was greek, so in a sense she was a greek goddess. Never forget that what you think is mythology actually was a huge part (and also is today) of people's life. They themselves likened people they admired to gods, so why shouldn't we?
