SO glad that in the Uk we don't start high school when you're 14. At that age you're the second aldest year ground in the school. All the year 7's (11/12 year olds) have just started and deal with the backback problem that their bags are twice their size so they look like walking bags, and that the rest of the school go "aww, year 7's get smaller and smaller every year".

Being a freshman is hard the first few days, but after that it's just natural. As long as know your boundaries, and you don't start drama or fights or any of that shit, you'll be fine.

Just be cool and respectful, and people will respect you. I'm a freshman in a class with a bunch of 10th and 11th graders, and so far we have had a smooth year.

dont be down because of your first year freshman, in my expirence, no one messed with me, that may have been b/c i was 6'4 and was on the football team but, dont worry about being picked on or anything someone will step in, i seen a freshman being picked on by a junior yesterday and i beat the shit out of him for it, and now i have a happy freshman that waves at me every time he sees me, this is my senior year, but ill be honest, freshman year was my favorite enjoy it while it lasts :D

Tip for the freshman:

Ladies. Unless your high school is super small, has no stairs, and the campus is the size of the grocercy store; Do Not wear heels. And by heels I mean pumps that make you 1/2 taller. Small heels are fine but REMEBER you're walking everywhere the whole day. If you want cute shoes go with flats.

Tests are apart of life and so are finals. Study ahead of time! It will save your brain and sleep. I had to take a bio exam off the top of my head cuz I didn't study.
